WRONG. Nice try.
Zionist Israelites proved they were really only ever interested in an ethnostate for themselves when they started murdering other Jews in Judea for peacefully interacting with Romans. The Israelites' Hasmonean dynasty of Judas Maccabee couldn't go more than a century without the Jewish kingdom falling apart over the civil unrest that resulted from the Israelites making themselves kings AND high priests, asserting both political and religious authority over the rest of the Jews (just as the Bible explains that only the Israelites were allowed to enter the Temple for worship).

The internal struggle in Judea following the death of Antigonus II between his Hasmonean prince and Herod the Great was seen by both the neighboring Parthian empire and the Nabateans as an opportunity to exploit the division for their own control. The Hasmonean prince sought the backing of the Parthians (who were aiming to betray him for their own control of Judea) while Herod made his case to the Roman empire, who agreed with the majority of Jews that he was better fit to lead the Kingdom of Judah (hence the civil war which would be impossible without majority opposition to the current regime), given the relative success and stability of Herod's tetrarchy of Galilee who LOVED Jesus when he came to preach God's love for everyone and who did NOT run him out of town trying to kill him for implying God or the Temple belonged to anyone but them like the tetrarchies of Israelite leaders.

The Romans were respectful of the broader Jewish culture in their appointment of the JEWISH King Herod to command Rome's military to restore order for the Jews. The Israelites rejected Herod because he was Jewish in faith and not of Israelite blood, but this only confirms their true interests in an authoritarian ethnostate over any claims of valuing the Jewish faith past their own exploitation of it.

King Herod honored the Roman empire in return by introducing aspects of their Roman society that did not interfere with the religious worship of the Jewish people like amphitheaters, aqueducts, administrative reforms around centralized bureaucracy and the adoption of legal principles, organizing Judea along proven Roman administrative lines for greater efficiency and autonomy among many other projects and virtues in lieu of the dystopian systems of Israelite authoritarianism the Jewish people had rejected.

... but since DID interfere with the ethnic worship the Israelites demanded, they quickly devolved into dagger-wielding terrorist gangsters known as the Sicarii (after the Sicae daggers they concealed) who would assassinate both the Romans and any Jews who peacefully fraternized with them... even Judea's own Jewish King had to worry about the sons he fathered with Israelite women both plotting to kill him to restore their absolute rule (which they eventually did, but not before he actioned on the discovery of several of their plans first).

His remaining Israelite sons forged their father's will of the kingdom to them, which the Roman empire still initially honored, but after the Jewish people predictably rejected the predictably authoritarian Israelite rule of his son Archelaus who managed to rise to power, the Roman authorities deemed him ineffective and in 6AD he was banished to Gaul (modern France).

Israelites say the Jewish King Herod sold out to the Romans and then went mad before "mysteriously dying". They lie and they steal and they kill, in blatant disregard of the 10 Commandments.

"Behold, I will make them of the 5ynagogue of 5atan, who say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie."
-Revelation 3:9
