"Why can't China leave Taiwan alone?"

People who say this are hopelessly naive.

Taiwan plays a critical role in determining:

1) The end of US hegemony
2) China's survival
3) The Global South's fade.

Let's examine this pivotal moment in the century. 🧵.

#1 Image
Lai Ching-te sent a clear message to Beijing.

No more strategic ambiguities or maintaining the status quo.

Taiwan is headed for independence.

The island was under Japan's rule, then under Chiang Kai Shek's dictatorship, and under US control since, never a democracy.

#2
Taiwan is a problem for 1.4 billion Chinese. The West should let us figure it out.

The US, however, is a master at exploiting countries' internal conflicts to divide and conquer.

Taiwan will be the US's launchpad to invade the mainland.

China may lose. Let's find out why.

#3 Image
The West views 1.4 billion Chinese as one single bot controlled by Xi Jinping.

The truth is managing China is an incredibly complex task.

Chinese leaders must navigate many local cultures, diverse public opinions, and various social structures.

Look at the following map.

#4
Those so-called China "experts" won't understand this map.

Southern Chinese live in big families. Many are rich and opportunistic.

Northerners are individualistic, innovative and patriotic.

It's a helpful map for marketers, but save it for another day.

Back to our topic.

#5 Image
Southern Chinese care less about Taiwan and more about business.

If reunification failed, Beijing could lose support from the wealthiest province in the country.

It will create a huge vulnerability for the US to exploit.

China's military faces another enormous challenge.

#6
Beijing's leaders are well-versed in many of China's 4,000 ancient military texts.

The Art of War: The worst policy of all is to besiege walled cities

Taking Taiwan is a costly and risky operation.

However, the following approach would be adopted if China had no choice.

#7 Image
China's military needs to take a few steps:

1) Test the blockade.

2) Revise the plan

3) Test again

4) 2nd round revision

5) Execute

Step 1 is done. Another radical move by Lai Ching-te will lead to step 3.

Why does the military need to take so long?

#8 Image
China has to anticipate attacks from AUKUS and Japan.

And it must ensure minimal damage to Taiwan.

There is no point in destroying families on the island and turning them all into enemies of the mainland.

Beijing knows that.

#9
Reunification has no worst-case scenario.

Because Beijing cannot afford to fail, as doing so would lead to catastrophic consequences.

The RMB will fall off the cliff. Many strategic partners will cancel cooperation agreements.

It will set China back 20 years.

#10
I am a Southerner with a Northern heart. Of course, I want reunification to happen.

It will mark the end of US hegemony. We will have a more balanced world.

And the Global South will rise with China.

#11
Beijing's peaceful reunification strategy is working.

95% of Taiwanese are Chinese. They are coming to the mainland more often and are proud of its achievements.

The US is desperate and willing to fight China to the last Taiwanese.

Beijing had no choice but to respond.

#12
Typo: it should be

3) The Global South's fate, not fade 😂
Typo: it should be in post #1

3) The Global South's fate, not fade 😂
@mroeppel and the worst policy of all is to besiege walled cities. The rule is, not to besiege walled cities if it can possibly be avoided.

China is fighting an extinction-level financial war.

Yellen asked China to buy $400B US debt and failed.

So, the US retaliates by not lowering interest rates, which chokes China's stock market.

Blinken also failed to threaten Beijing to end trade with Russia.

What's next?

#1 Image
The US military keeps the printing press going.

But, even if the US quits its war addiction now, its debt will reach $54 trillion by 2034.

Soon, the world can't absorb so much USD.

America is on an unstoppable train to a total collapse.

There is only one outcome.

#2
The US is desperate to start WW3 to wipe its debt clean.

The only way to delay the war is if China injects cash into the American economy.

China says NO.

So, the US just started a financial war with China.

Here is what's happening.

"Mao killed 80 million people."

Is it true?

Often, people who say this have no proof but a few memes that insult others.

The truth can only be revealed by real data.

Let's look at the facts in this 🧵

#1 Image
In China, deaths have always hovered around 8-12 million/yr over the last 74 yrs.

During Mao's period, the # of deaths actually went down.

Except in 1960, the number went up by ~9 million.

Why do the Chinese still consider Mao as a hero but the West sees him as a villain?

#2 Image
Wikipedia says the Great Chinese Famine's total deaths were between 11 and 55 million.

That's the same as saying they just made up some numbers.

Fake News Alert 🚨

China is NOT tracking people by installing QR codes on their homes.

This American account edited the video in his post to spread fake news.

See post #2 which exposes his lie

Wall Street Silver @ WallStreetSilv is a fake news account.

Here is how he creates fearmongering posts.

The video he posted was deliberately cut short at the end.

The end clearly says the QR code is for residents to get community info online.

Xi and Biden met to temporarily end the US-China standoff.

– The US is out of cash and can't afford four wars (Russia, Iran, DPRK, China).

– China is in a painful transition and facing a financial war.

This 🧵reveals what's hidden that will change the world in 2024.

#1 Image
The US needs Beijing to slow down dedollarization.

US debt is not selling. Europe will ban fossil fuel cars by 2035. China will run on 50% renewables by 2030.

The Petrodollar is ending.

That's why the US wants Gaza.

#2 Image
Israel is ramping up natural gas production outside Gaza.

They have 23 trillion cf of gas reserves, enough for decades of use in Europe.

But Hamas is in the way.

Netanyahu's genocide in Gaza aims to secure wealth for future Israeli generations.

And the US gets a cut.

Before China liberated Tibet in 1959, life was hellish like Gaza today.

Except the Tibetans had lived it for five centuries.

95% of Tibetans (and kids) were owned by the Dalai Lama's ruling caste.

The footage of how slaves lived in Tibet before 1959 is in post #2.

#1/5 Image
Tibet was ruled by a dystopian theocracy.

The 14th Dalai Lama owned 6,000 serfs and 8,000 kg of gold until his regime collapsed.

Tibetan diasporas only know the CIA's romanticized version of the Dalai Lama story.

The truth is the opposite. See it in #3

#2/5
Tibetan diasporas who want to "Free Tibet" have never seen today's Tibet.

Literally, the CIA movement is to have Tibetans be slaves again.

See an extreme case that happened in Tibet in #4

As an advanced paragliding instructor and a paramotor pilot, I see holes in the Hamas' fly-in attack story.

I also analyzed the rocket launch and how the Iron Wall was breached.

We might be lied to AGAIN like we were 22 years ago.

🧵 #1/12 Image
Residents living 1 km away from the airfield often complain about us flying paramotors.

Paramotors are noisy and slow (45km/hr avg).

Did Hamas fighters fly over Israel's advanced border defence system undetected?

Or did someone look the other way?

And the pilots…

#2/12
Paragliders' nickname is jellyfish. Because it's the most unstable aircraft out there.

Also, paramotors are highly specialized equipment.

Hamas fighters needed months of tandem pilot training to pull off the attack.

They've told us a similar story before. Remember?
