#RENHENG FOOD ALERT #刃恒 FOOD ALERT.
TODAY IS DUANWU, AKA DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL. THE 5TH DAY OF THE 5TH MONTH, THE DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL OF THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON IN THE LUNAR CALENDAR!!!!!!
The herbs listed in the description are also herbs used in Duanwu to ward off evils and ghosts. That's why Blade is holding them. 🤣🤣🤣
The Bracelet he wears is 五彩线 5 colored strings, a custom of Duanwujie to ward off evils. The food is Zongzi, also commonly eaten during Duanwu. baike.baidu.com/tashuo/browse/…
There are various stories about the origin of the festival. The first one is about Qu Yuan, who was a famous and loyal poet of Chu. He was falsely accused of treason at court and exiled. Later on, his country was destroyed, and he commited suicide by jumping into a river.
Reportedly, after his death, the people didn't want the fish to eat his body, so they threw Zongzi into the river so that the fish would eat that instead.
So yeah, falsely accused of treason, exiled, and then wanted to die, very Blade.
The other origin story of Dragon Boat festival is that it predated Qu Yuan and originated from a southern festival worshipping the Dragon King. The food thrown into the river are offerings to the Dragon King.
So do you know what this means?
IT MEANS THIS IS RENHENG FOOD. LITERALLY. WE REALLY DO GET FOOD EVERY PATCH. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😩🤣
Btw, Qu Yuan was also the guy who wrote Chu Ci, which is where Shuhu the 9-headed dragon that eats souls originated from:
焉有石林何獸能言
焉有虯龍負熊以游
雄虺九首倏忽焉在
何所不死長人何守
- Tianwen 天问
The Zhulong Torch dragon was also referenced in CN by Dan Shu in the TB quest. Technically, the poem DAN Shu cited was 苦昼短 (bitter/hard day is short) by Li He, with secondary ref to Tian Wen from Chu Ci.
3rd pic is summary of the line analysis. m.shicimingju.com/chaxun/list/55…
Btw DF was referred by Ling Jie, the author of the second aria as Dragon King 龙王。🤣🤣
The Many, Many clues telling us that the second ending of 2.2 is also a dream, a thread.
Buckle up, yo, this is gonna be longgggg.
Might have to update with new findings later lol. I blame Sparkle.
1. The first thing that screams at our face that the second ending of 2.2 is fake is the end credit. Normal ends don't have end credit. As of 2.2, there have only been 4 end credits so far: Herta station when TB rejected the AE, bad end of 2.0, fake end 1 in 2.2, and second end.
Basically, the stat right now is 3 out of 4 end credits are fake endings. The stat ain't exactly on the second end's side, to say the least.
Whodunit (Part 3) - On the case of the NPCs and revisit of Robin’s death.
Hypothesis: There are multiple SUDs, and Blackswan did it.
1. In the 2.1 TB, we are led to believe by Sunday that Gallagher is the culprit behind Robin’s and the NPCs’ death. However, is that the actual truth?
2. Looking closely at the scene itself, we can easily notice that Gallagher actually dodged Sunday’s question several times. From the beginning to the end, it was mostly Sunday solo-ing the speech.
I come bearing another #Ratiorine #理砂 crumb.
So the White Night lyrics in JP and KR, it's Ratio (KR) and Aven (JP) talking to each other. And it's a ref to Heaven is a Place on Earth.
Credit: me, @Himeshxt , @BIanB , anon discord friend, and Sei.
It all started when I randomly ran into this NGA post. The NGA bro argued that the lyrics are from different perspectives and talking to each other. They thought CN and JP are MC, and KR and EN are Firefly. bbs.nga.cn/read.php?tid=3…
I was skeptical at the time because I was very sure that KR and EN are too different to be the same perspective, and CN version and the live action was too obviously Misha's perspective. Because doorman of the hotel and all the time refs.
On Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, and Materialism
Hypothesis: The 2.1 TB quest is a discussion on the philosophical argument between Schopenhauer’s denial of Will to Live and Nietzsche’s Will to Power, and the main actor was Aventurine. #Acheron and the tiniest bit of #Ratiorine #理砂
I actually studied hard science back in uni, so some things might be oversimplified. That pol sci course is finally pulling its weight. Further reading through the links is recommended if you want to get a more in-depth view of the topics.
Small bit I noticed while digging back screencaps for another post.
Kinda #ratiorine #理砂 I guess.
In the 2.1 TB quest, while under the effect of Sunday's Tang power, Aventurine was giving away cash to people for clues. Uma, an NPC, called Aven Oscar Wilde's the Happy Prince.
In the Happy Prince, the prince was a statue covered in gold and Gems 😉. The prince has noble character and gave out pieces of himself (gems and gold) to the suffering town people one by one until he died, leaving nothing but the broken lead heart. litcharts.com/lit/the-happy-…
So yeah that's Aven, giving out cash to the NPC and gems to Sunday.
The town in the story is a happy town where no one (is supposed to) suffer, but the reality is that people suffer anyway (cough Penacony cough).
夕顔 (Evening beauty) Yugao is also the name of a heroin in Genji Monogatari. She was a side wife of a guy and was forced into hiding by the main wife. In the story, she is depicted as a sheltered and innocent woman easily taken in by promise of love.
#RobinHSR
Genji Hikaru accidentally met her while she was in hiding and was taken in by her sense of poetry. Genji asked her to have sex with him him, and she accepted. However, he had no real actual plan to marry her but only wanted to have sex with her.
Yugao knew this but accepted it anyway because she was so lonely and desperate for even an illusion of love. During an "elopement" with Genji in an abandoned temple, Yugao was haunted by Rokujo - the ghost of one of Genji's exes, and died. zh.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%A4%95…
