#ONEPIECE Theory

The Identity of Imu Image
When the film RED was released, many fans observed a similarity between Uta's crown and Imu's crown, and it's true that if you look closely, there is a resemblance

But I'm going deeper than that Image
A parallel emerges between Imu and Uta, particularly with regard to their potential appearance and, even more so, their personality Image
We recently saw the transformations of the Gorosei members, all coming out of a Pentagram and most of them are transformations linked to Yokai, demons from Japanese folklore Image
However, given that Imu is superior to the Gorosei and is considered the King of the World, one could compare Imu to "Satan", or "Lucifer" the fallen angel

I've talked about this in old theories, but I think initially Imu wasn't as bad as people think Image
This reminds me of Rayleigh's statement suggesting that it's essential to travel the world at your own pace, and that the Straw Hats' conclusion once they arrive on Laugh Tale might differ from that of Roger and his crew Image
This also makes me think of Imu's statement during the discussion with Cobra about the Ds, indicating that the bearers of the "D." don't even understand its meaning, and saying that the D's are empty shells Image
I believe there was a real moral dilemma behind the story of the Void Century

If the truth were as obvious as "The World Government is the source of all evil", why would we come to a different conclusion? Image
Maybe this will be debunked in the future, but for now I think maybe Imu wasn't as bad as people think

To support this theory, I will mainly rely on the case of Uta, because I think that Oda was inspired by it to create the character of Imu Image
As mentioned previously, some shots suggest connections between Uta and Imu, such as physical similarities including the crown, as well as a shot where Uta is shown sitting on a throne surrounded by swords, reminiscent of Empty Throne Image
The storyline of the film RED highlights Uta's desire to forge a new era, a goal shared with Luffy

As the plot progresses, we gradually observe the character's decline Image
Uta had fallen into madness due to her loneliness and the unhappiness in the world

His aspiration was to create a new era marked by peace, where everyone could live in harmony

The climax of Uta's madness is illustrated by Tot Musica

But what exactly is 'Tot Musica'? Image
As a reminder, in the film, Tot Musica represents a demonic entity created by the Uta Uta no Mi

Tot Musica is also known as the "Ancient Demon King" Image
According to stories, Tot Musica embodies the symbol of all the negative feelings of humanity

The reason I'm sharing these details is that oddly enough, it coincides with several elements

First of all, "Ancient Demon King" Image
This brings to mind what I mentioned previously, with the demonic transformations of the Gorosei and the Pentagram, a magical symbol that can be likened to Satanism when inverted Image
Secondly, when it comes to the negative emotions of humanity, doesn't this remind you of devil fruits?

According to this theory, if devil fruits were created from the desires of human beings, Imu would have a connection to the negative feelings of humans Image
In an old theory, I suggested that Binks' Sake recounts Joy Boy's journey, and that the conclusion of his adventure reveals his confrontation with Imu

Well, I think Tot Musica is the missing piece of the puzzle, and it's all connected Image
Tot Musica could be Imu's point of view

While Bink's Sake seems to tell the story of Joy Boy, Tot Musica could instead tell that of Imu

Just as Uta is portrayed as a lonely character wishing to save the world, Imu could portray a similar character Image
Of course, I'm not claiming that Imu embodies good, but that might coincide with what Rayleigh was talking about about "conclusion." Image
Maybe originally there were no good or bad people, only divergent opinions, aiming to create a new era and preserve world balance, just like Uta and Luffy who, in the movie, aspire to usher in a new era Image
Tot Musica is associated with the music of death, while Bink's Sake represents the music of life

However, the question is: why would Bink's Sake symbolize life when the song is explicitly about death? Image
This is explained by the distinction between two forms of death

While Tot Musica evokes despair and the creation of a new era through destruction, Bink's Sake embodies hope, freedom and the creation of a new era through peace Image
While Tot Musica addresses themes of suffering and revenge, crossing a line from which Uta cannot return, being consumed by her own hatred, Bink's Sake evokes the acceptance of death and the certainty that dawn ends always by getting up, directly referring to Joy Boy Image
Indeed, if you examine the lyrics side by side, it illustrates this duality perfectly

Tot Musica urges one to sing until one's last breath, while Bink's Sake warns of the danger of losing one's composure and breathing one's last Image
Tot Musica is a symphony of salvation and destruction, while Bink's Sake reminds us of the importance of keeping a smile on your face, because no matter the circumstances, there will always be someone to inherit your will until the Promised Dawn Image
In summary, I think Tot Musica could embody Imu, while Bink's Sake could evoke Joy Boy

These two characters share the desire to shape a new era, but with different approaches Image
Imu, like Tot Musica, could be an entity created by the darkest emotions of humans, both physically and metaphorically

This would be a beautiful parallel to the Sun God Nika, who brings joy to the world Image
