And gaming the courts is from the anti abortion playbook. That’s how they overturned Roe in American and just (unsuccessfully) tried to ban Mifepristone. What will happen next (as with England outside local buffer zones) an activist will hang around outside the clinic for as
long as it takes with people ready to film them. When asked by police to move they will refuse. In England they continue until they have to be arrested (here it will escalate to a fine). There will then be a lot of faux outrage from the far right about ‘thought crimes’
And it will be framed as ‘veteran/gran/charity worker’ ‘arrested for silently praying’. Then right wing tabloids uncritically go with the story and use a picture of them looking very sad while praying. Then right wing politicians take the opportunity to make a
fuss in Parliament. But this was expected in Scotland.
