My regberegbe (1988,1987,1986) Bobasete Obirin Asiwaju Akile Ijebu-ode started laying our foundation (4 years ago).

The goal is to outshine one another (for the fun of it) by our style of dressing,(during the Ojude Oba &our Egbe party) outreach programs during the course of the year and our level of popularity.

Of outfit/colour until a day people Ojude-oba. This is also the same with other regberegbes. This part is "top secret" and only the committee is aware of what has been chosen.
A day before or night before,all members meet up to discuss what we plan to do at the arena/palace.

The morning of Ojude-oba, we start our prep as early as 1am. Make-up, gele, photos, etc.
Then off to the arena we go! We are scored for punctuality, popularity, choice of outfits and colours.
Once we step into the arena, dance, greet other age groups (especially the older ones)

Also, if you're part of a horse riding family (like me) it's expected that 0ne or two riders from your family greet your regberegbe.
In my case, my dad came to where mine were to say hello (It's a big deal) and can sometimes make the other factions jealous.

Once we're done at the Ojude-oba(after the results have been announced). Our party is the next day. The party is to round-up the 4 day experience.

We also have "older women amongst us". They're our advisers/Matron. They're also a part of our disciplinary committee.
Style of gele has to be the same during Ojude-oba including neck pieces, purses and shoes. This year, we tied the ground style of gele, every titled chief had their title written on their ipale.
Otun Balogun and Balogun. We're a part of the governing council.
