🔥TODD BENSMAN: There’s so much more that the Trump campaign could be talking about. There’s so much more good reporting about the flights, the CBP One program. About the fact that the Panamanian government has offered to close the Darién Gap, and the Biden Harris administration promised to give them the money to do it, and never sent the check. Trump should be out there, stumping on that. Saying, where’s the money?

🔥 CISA’s internal analysis of the 2020 election, obtained via FOIA, said 76 percent of assessed digital election machinery was vulnerable to attack, and 48 percent had a critical or high severity vulnerability to attack.

Most secure election ever? NOPE.

Biden’s EO 14019 “directs every federal agency to register and mobilize voters. It’s now reported that welfare and other agencies in all but four states … are giving out voter registration forms to migrants without requiring proof of citizenship.”Image
“Such is the anti-Trump vitriol in the US that a recent poll found 28 percent of Democrats thought the country would have been better off if Trump had been assassinated. Amid such hatred, we can take a willingness to commit election fraud as a given.”

🧵 In 2017, as part of the negotiation process for the United Nations’ 🇺🇳 Global Compact on Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, then-President of the UN General Assembly Peter Thomson prepared a list of “non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, academic institutions, private sector entities, diaspora communities and migrant organizations that have been approved to attend and participate in the preparatory process of the global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration.” #stakeholderlistImage

🔥CORY GAUTEREAUX: I have attempted to share content that I have found at the border that is a matter of national security. I have been told that due to the political climate, federal agents would be retaliated against for actively investigating this material.

On the border, my team located an abandoned cell phone. We discovered it was from someone who traveled from Wuhan, China to San Gabriel, California.

I found around 40 different chat groups, via an app in the phone, that provide instructions on how to get smuggled into the U.S. The most prominent chat groups are Chinese, but my team has infiltrated Russian, Ukrainian, Azerbaijan and other Middle Eastern chats as well.

The chats contain a treasure trove of intelligence information. This research has led to chats that are associated with a sophisticated network of CCP operatives working in our country. In addition to coordinates to infiltrate the border, I’ve discovered detailed information about our country’s nuclear posture….

ISSA: Afghan nationals have been given Turkish documentation? And then threw them away? By throwing those documents away, that they used to get here, they concealed who they were when they turned themselves in at the border?

🧵Fun fact: President Trump withdrew from negotiating the UN’s 🇺🇳 Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration in 2017 because it is “not compatible with U.S. sovereignty.”

In 2021, Secretary of State Antony Blinken “adopted” the Global Compact on behalf of the U.S. 🤯Image
Image
The five-page State Department document announcing the purported “Adoption” of the Global Compact is not legally binding. But it illustrates the Biden Harris administration’s attitudes toward illegal “migration” and shows an adherence to the UN’s worldview and values.
Image

The memo expresses Biden’s commitment to “developing welcoming strategies that promote integration, inclusion, citizenship, and the full participation of the newest U.S. citizens in our democracy,” and to countering “expressions and manifestations of racism” and “xenophobia.”

UN 🇺🇳International Office for Migration (IOM) Director General AMY POPE’s Message on the Launch of the Strategic Plan 2024-2028

“We won’t reach the Sustainable Development goals if we don’t harness the power of migration. As we launch this new plan, we are going to be guided by the Global Compact for Migration. That’s a framework for addressing migration’s challenges, and harnessing migration’s benefits.”

According to Pope, the Strategic Plan is a blueprint that will shape IOM’s actions over the next five years. It’s designed to guide IOM’s work on three key priorities:

1. Saving lives and protecting people on the move

2. Driving solutions to displacement

3. Facilitating pathways for regular migration
Nothing illustrates the seamless nature of the relationship between the Biden administration and the IOM more clearly than the selection in October 2023 of Amy Pope, then President Biden’s Senior Advisor on Migration and former Deputy Homeland Security Advisor, to the office of Director General for IOM. The mission of the IOM is to propel migration, not to prevent it: IOM “is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits migrants and society.” In an interview Pope said she views “migration” as “not a question of whether people move; it’s a question of how they move and whether we, as international actors, can build out ways for them to move.” She cited “climate” as her top priority as IOM director general: “millions of people [are] displaced each year as a result of climate impacts, and we know that hundreds of millions more live in extremely climate vulnerable communities.” Pope’s absurd worldview rests on the unsupportable myth that carbon emissions are driving global warming, and the logic-free conclusion that international “migration” is the answer.

Pope has a “passion for changing the global narrative about people on the move,” and that passion is reflected in the language used by both IOM and PRM to blur the legal distinction between bona fide refugees and “migrants” in order to absorb massive numbers of undocumented “migrants” into programs originally intended to provide humanitarian aid for discrete, defined groups of legitimate, fully vetted refugees. The State Department has recently turned over to IOM the operation of “major U.S. government policy initiatives in Latin America,” including management of the no-interest Refugee Travel Loan program. Will these transfers to Geneva enable Amy Pope and U.S.-funded IOM activities to evade Congressional oversight?

“If we’re going to deliver on the promise of migration, we have to deliver on the promise of gender equality.”

Migration is a powerful driver of development. For business and societies, migration is filling critical gaps in the labor market.

Women face a growing gender gap in all international migration, especially in global labor migration.

Data indicates there are 29 million fewer female migrant workers, globally, than male — meaning that women, and societies, are being deprived of the potential that their migration holds.

Women are often excluded from the formal economy, and relegated to some of the precarious sectors of informal work, such as domestic and care work. Yet they still make up the majority of migrant workers in the informal economy.

This means women migrant workers often have to take jobs that are below their current skill levels, and they are at an increased risk of abuse, including gender-based violence and exploitation.

At a time when the world is facing increasing challenges, including climate change, it is important to give women an opportunity to be part of the solution.

Therefore, IOM has launched the Gender and Migration Research Policy Action Lab. Or, GenMig.

This is a multi-stakeholder initiative to improve gender equality in migration. It leverages impact research on gender and migration through a global partner network to improve gender equality in migration.

GenMig multiplies the impact of evidence-based research, policy, innovative solutions, and action on gender and migration. GenMig is designed as an accelerator of change for migrants.

If we’re going to deliver on the promise of migration, we have to deliver on the promise of gender equality.
