The previous meeting minutes passed unanimously
Anthony Finnell (Independent Police Auditor) said he passed out a flyer for an upcoming conference that has a special session with Police Oversight Board and Commission members nationals.
He asked board members to reserve their spots
Gippin said Castle created a draft report with ideas for the CPOBs next year.
Anuszkiewicz recognized the anniversary of the Jayland Walker on June 28th and took a moment of silence
Executive Session for the consideration of a public employee started at 6:09 PM

A staffer recognized a 20-year Metro Customer Care Specialist He said she has also been a mascot and a clerk for Metro.

Charles Rector said the Customer Service and Experience Committee met June 20th. He said there are 266 metro operators of the 292 budgeted. He said 83% of buses were on time. He said the goal is that 95% of busses are on time

Casey Shevlen (Director or Sustainability and Resiliency) presented a plan to relocate the Middlebury waste transfer station (WTS) to 1400 Archwood Ave
A WTS is a midpoint for waste to be stored before being transported to a further final point such as a land fill

Barbara Sykes offered a change to the meeting agenda. The change limited additions to being made at least 2 business days before the meeting
A staffer suggested including exceptions for emergency contracts and staff concerns
Dianna Autree said she approves the option which includes consultation with "School Board Leadership"
Carla Jackson said the language needs to be specific to the board president and board vice president
The board agreed to hold a 2nd reading during the next committee meeting

Fusco requested time on all old legislation
Planning Director Suzie Graham Moore said Item 3 enters into partnerships with Summit County, the Land Bank, and the GAR Foundation to study development feasibility of large plots in Akron and inner-ring Akron suburbs.

He read item 9 which approved the Meridian Urban Renewal Plan in North Hill
A staffer explained that this approved the housing plan and standards
Fusco requested temporary time on item 9 to ask questions later
He read item 10 which gives historic Designation to the Brown Family Home at 242 Lake Street
Item 10 was approved unanimously

Ward 8 councilman James Hardy started the meeting at 9:01 PM with 20 people present
Hardy acknowledged the Ring Doorbell camera giveaway which happened before the meeting
Sean Vollman (Deputy Director of Economic Development) said that the city was approached with a proposal from "SciFi" which will provide fiber to Akron. This 200$ million project is paid fully by the company and the city will only give them use of right of way.
