SitRep - 26/06/24 - Zelenskyi visited Donbas

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Zelenskyi went to the front in the Donbas region and an unmanned systems forces branch within the AFU was created.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We include visually confirmed destroyed or damaged Russian equipment and/or personnel.
A total of 6 drones were shot down.
A Ukrainian drone hit a Russian military base in Bilhorod.
The first time a Bradley M2A2's Bushmaster gun was recorded, shooting down an FPV drone.
Confirmation came about the Krasukha EW-complex that was struck several days ago in occupied Crimea.
A Russian ammo storage and a BREM recovery vehicle destroyed.
Ukrainian drone attacks on the left bank.
Lets continue with the general events. New POW exchanges are likely to be announced more soon, according to GUR representative Yusov.
The US will monitor possible troop deployment of North Korea into Ukraine.
Zelenskyi created a new branch in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Some statistics about the ICEYE satelite, mainly using SAR images, to identify Russian equipment.
Zelenskyi visited the Donbas, and hinted towards a reshuffle among government officials that lacked to visit that area for months.
Russia collected debris of the downed IL-76, reportedly by a Patriot SAM. Russia still has not provided any evidence that Ukrainian prisoners were on board.
Mark Rutte has officially been declared the successor of Jens Stoltenberg as NATO Secretary General, he will step down on 1 october.
Ukraine's energy sector has been heavily affected by the recent Russian missile attacks.
The first artillery shells through the Czech initiative have already arrived in Ukraine. A new batch is expected in July.

Vovchansk

Fighting inside Vovchansk continues. Newly geolocated footage west of the city shows small changes. Russian forces were located a bit more south of Ohirtseve. This does not necessarily have to mean Russian advances, but could also be confirmation of previous positions. Image
Another front is Chasiv Yar, where Russians are heavily pressing the eastern microdistrict. But, Russians have not been able to make significant advances and have not crossed the Siverskyi Donets – Donbas Canal. Image
