No one I know believes that Biden has a "condition" that prevents him from continuing as an effective POTUS. It's infuriating how so many of you have him diagnosed, when in 2016, when psychiatrists & psychologists told you what was wrong with Trump, it was ignored. 2/,

It was ignored because those experts hadn't personally examined Trump. Anyone familiar with it, such as myself, could see that Trump had narcissistic personality disorder, which interfered with his ability to be an effective POTUS in 2017. It gets worse with age. 2/

Trump's not exhibiting dementia, he's exhibiting aging NPD. So is my ex. They say borrowed phrases that seem to get positivity reflected back at them. As their brains age, they cannot string those words & sentences together coherently. 3/

5/ People with NPD are empty shells. That makes Trump an excellent figurehead for ultra conservatives & Christian nationalists who want to remake America in an unconstitutional form.

6/ On top of which, Trump is a proven rapist, probable pedophile, known conman & fraud, & 34x convicted felon. Yet no one is forcing him to stop pretending he's a valid candidate, even as he tries to demonstrate his "smartness" with nonsensical questions about sharks and e-boats.

7/ No doctor has stated that anything is wrong with Biden that would prevent him from continuing to be an effective POTUS, which no one in touch with reality can deny he has been & still is.

8/ He also has a VP more qualified than most VPs who have had to take over in cases of death or resignation. Would FDR have dropped the bomb? We'll never know. Truman took over. Why is Kamala Harris being ignored? Misogyny & racism. You decide which is primary.

9/ Speaking of primaries. The idea of a blitz primary is laughable. It's July, heading into August. People are on vacation, out of the country, visiting out-of-state relatives, or--like myself in a few weeks--heading north out of the heatwave to a cool New England beach.

10/ So how will you corral voters for a blitz primary? Hold it in September? Moreover, we already voted in our primaries. We selected our candidates. Trying to void those votes is illegal, beyond question. Our votes stand, & they stand for Biden.

11/ An open convention? Also makes many lawsuits over voided primary votes likely. Additionally, the very idea has not been thought out. Any "winner" will only have a segment of Democrats behind them. That's why we have spring primaries.

12/ Enough of us are infuriated we won't vote for Nominee X. Or see Nominee X as more qualified than Kamala Harris. We also won't have sufficient time to learn who Nominee X is and what he (or an unlikely she) has done that qualifies them to be an effective POTUS.

13/ Biden has put us on an excellent path for the future. It's his vision & his plan. He's the incumbent. He doesn't have to run around like a puppy convincing us he's good at his job. And most of us know him well enough to know that he could continue following that path blind.

14/ POTUSes don't "rule" alone. They build administrations to carry out the plan. That administration knows what future steps need to be taken. That's why a Vice President can take over. We're not voting for a person. We're voting for a path.

15/ Nominee X doesn't know the plan or the future steps. Nominee X will also build a new, untried administration. I don't trust Nominee X to have the same ability, agenda, intelligence or respect for the rule of law as Biden/Harris.

16/ If you do, go make another country and make Nominee X POTUS there. The rest of us are sticking with Biden. Apparently you've all forgotten how he appeared in the 2020 Democratic primaries. Debate isn't his best forum. He was still the right candidate. He still is now.

17/ As for claiming that Jill Biden is a wicked éminence grise engaged in elder abuse, this country really needs to get a grip on its fairy-tale-based misogyny. Seriously.
