Short thread to stop panicking and going insane like the thread explaining Biden would likely bomb his first debate because that is what incumbents do.
Trump will likely get a small RNC bounce.
After the RNC, is the Summer Olympics & Preseason NFL games before the DNC late in August, Trump will likely lead polling the next 6 weeks, the DNC will take place and then Labor Day.
When Labor Day hits, folks will finally pay attention and early voting starts soon after.
After Labor Day is when polling matters.
Take a break and relax.
If there wasn't the expectation that Biden would win the first debate, there wouldn't be the rabid panic that set in during and after the debate.

Income alone is a poor indicators of being middle class. It doesn't qualify because income doesn't consider the cost of housing, transportation, disposable income etc.
Comparing $70k in San Francisco to $70k in Hot Springs, AR is asinine.
@BlueSteelDC @iamchanteezy @iam_wakandan Wealth is a better indicator of class than income but determining the value of hard assets & the reporting of other assets can be inflated, deflated or flat out wrong.
Purchasing power & consumption is used by some economist to determine class.

Getting from 2008 until here was a struggle, a celebration and a needed discovery. - a short 🧵🧵🧵 twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
I moved from DC to New York in the summer of 2006 for a job at my current employer, it meant moving to New York City & working for my twin until the position one of my current bosses was creating.
It meant leaving someone I truly loved & who helped craft me into who I am.
I loved my job, happy hours with friends and staying with both my brother + my mom as she started her decline but I missed my ex.
I took the train down often & each trip became more depressing. I knew I was holding on to memories and sad that he wasn't here.
This week, the Democrats defeated 30 media narratives & a micro-trend from the fascist GOP, a media that longs for the increased ratings of GOP incompetence, the communist left, apathetic contrarians,
& a wide array of HOTEPS.
1. Doing student loan forgiveness, using existing law, targeting only the student of working/middle-class families or graduates who now are working/middle-class adults would outrage non-college grads
2. Biden and then Harris' record low popularity ratings and how they were dragging down the party into the depths of Talokan.
This is the third policy move by the Biden-Harris administration that would have been a weakness for a Harris presidential run that has been taken off the table.
Where I think Afghanistan was a real issue, I am glad this fake issue will go away.
Only 88 out of 24.5k federal drug conviction in 2000 were for marijuana possession. 84 were from DC & all 84 included another felony. Local municipalities and state governments prosecute these cases.
Most cities and states run by Democrats are not locking people up for possession as a solo charge.
Will this change the incarceration madness in states ran by Republicans?
