I can only hope @MID_RF will stand up for Evan, whom they have accredited as a journalist for years. It will reflect badly on them if he is imprisoned. At least fight for him to be deported

Erdogan’s government demanded every part of the earthquake response go thru AFAD, which is like FEMA except run by imams.
Rescuers say that led to delays & disorganization that cost lives:

In Iskenderun the morning after earthquakes, it was locals & volunteers digging people out of the rubble, not state org AFAD. Some 1st responders said AFAD delayed them from going to quake zone
Why was AFAD's earthquake response so poor?
It's inexperienced, understaffed & overly controlling.
People are angry several top officials trained as imams or worked in religious affairs, including Ismail Palakoglu, head of disaster response

Gas leaking from the "sabotage" of the Nord Stream pipelines is a "severe safety & environmental hazard, especially should Russia not stop pumping gas into the system."
That sounds a lot like environmental terrorism. cnbc.com/2022/09/27/rus…
To be clear, we don't yet know what exactly occurred, who is responsible or whether gas will continue leaking. The whole thing is just very odd, and the Danish & German authorities obviously think so too
