People got fired for wearing a MAGA hat in their FB photo, for making the OK Hand Sign, for donating $25 to Kyle Rittenhouse.
People have been physically assaulted in hundreds of different incidents for supporting Trump, opposing BLM, etc in public.
People have been *murdered* for supporting Trump.
There have been hundreds of "Trump-related" hate crime hoaxes in the past eight years.
~2/3rds of Democrat voters wanted to put you on house arrest for not getting the vaccine. ~45% wanted to put you in a camp.
No target was ever too minor, no offense was ever too trivial, no shame was ever felt, no mercy was ever granted.
There is literally nothing that could make me feel bad about liberals and leftists getting a taste of their own medicine.
I do not care.
Literally murdered in cold blood — leftist was lying in wait inside of a parking garage entrance, popped out and shot him point blank. For existing.
It also doesn't matter if it's her fault or not, in the same way a grizzly bear "can't help" the fact that it wants to knock you down and start eating while you're still alive.
She is a problem. It doesn't matter if she "can help it" or not.
You're right, of course, but I think it's valuable to mention this stuff — many are claiming that canceling people over the assassination is "the same" and the reality is that Trump supporters usually get canceled for far tamer reasons.
He almost certainly is but it's besides the point because all this stuff about "Rittenhouse is fat/dumb/can't shoot" is cope for the fact that he erased two libtards from the face of the Earth and got away with it
The reality is there's been no "movement" to speak of ever since anything resembling a right-wing "movement" — Christian Identity, old WN groups, etc. — was smashed by the feds and the ADL/SPLC in the '90s.
Everything we know as The Movement 2.0, as in the alt-right/dissident right, is just decentralized discourse and memetics, which certainly seems more effective and antifragile than The Movement 1.0 was.
The real criticism of Patriot Front is that it's ineffective because it's a rehash of something that has already failed many times, but that doesn't make it inauthentic or a psyop.
Conservatives cheering for PF's arrest (which they then pretend doesn't happen) is just a form of normie sadism and a desire to cling to the status quo, which is less scary than whatever PF is.
Even though PF is largely ineffective, conservatives do themselves no favors by throwing PF under the bus while pretending to agree with ~90% of what PF says anyway.
The left NEVER condemns its radical flank, up to and including literal rioters and violent terrorists — PF doesn't come anywhere close to this level of radical action, so it makes no sense for conservatives to make a big cowardly show of condemning them for what amounts to nothing.
Is this worse optics than antifa kiddies with anarchism or hammer & sickle imagery cracking elderly women's skulls with baseball bats? Is it worse optics than black nationalists burning down drug stores and looting Amazon trucks?
The liberal press says so, and conservatives never saw a liberal framing that they weren't eager to buy into.
My favorite thing about you people is that nobody ever even explains what "the psyop" even is — how does it benefit the feds for some guys to march with masks and flags? Nobody ever explains how. Because you're fucking stupid.
They have been doing actual false flags for years with actual substantive damage and real stakes, the idea that they would bother with piddly marches that don't even have swastikas is laughable
Folx who say 2023 was a good year for games are all like:
"But Starfield"
"But Baldur's Gate"
"But AssCreed"
"But Horizon"
"But Cyberpunk update"
"But (mid indie gimmick)"
And now they're awfully quiet this year. Which slop is coming out this year and how will they cope?
Here's the thing, yeah? It's not that there are no good games at all, it's that the market is saturated with an overwhelming amount of garbage and even the "good" games are touched by crappy trends in design philosophy
Look at the storylines of games like Ace Combat or Armored Core — often times the story will be quite interesting.
But the meat of the game is "pilot this jet/mech and blow things up" — you can ignore the story and enjoy the game for what it is at its core.
This isn't so with "story-rich" games, where the mechanics and victory conditions are either flimsy or entirely absent. You *cannot* ignore the story in these "games," because they're all "story" and no "game."
The soyman yearns to have a Nerd Room with wall-to-wall collections of pHySiCaL mEdIa he never watches, plays, or reads.
Physical media is overrated and has been ever since CDs and DVDs were invented — these are just storage devices for digital media anyway, with the added drawback that the discs are prone to degradation — it's not even a different experience from playing back a file, and might actually be worse. I can remember going to watch a DVD for literally the second time and finding that the disc had degraded enough to ruin the movie or even just not spin up at all.
Same goes for digital music and games. It's even weirder when people pine for cassettes or VHS tapes, which are definitively a worse experience than digital in basically every way. You gain nothing by using them, but lose out on a lot. An mp3 or FLAC file is going to play exactly the same way every single time, you're never going to be surprised to find that it doesn't work or has degraded in quality.
Even cartridge-based games are mostly irrelevant because emulation has gotten so good, and if emulation isn't good enough for you, there are even companies making boutique hardware that can natively run ROMs.
At least vinyl records provide an actual difference in experience, and even "store" the content differently — you fundamentally cannot digitally reproduce the experience of listening to vinyl, nor can vinyl reproduce the accuracy and consistency of digital. They're two different things that live in their own worlds.
Mostly, though, the obsession with "physical media" is just soyjakking over having a big, expensive, dusty collection that takes up an entire room of your house — it's no different from Funko Pops at this point.
Nobody has time to watch hundreds of DVDs, each one will be watched a few times at most, so if I'm going to have a "movie collection" it's going to be sitting on a disk drive.
This is exactly why I compare it to Funko Pops or anything similar, these people are addicted to the dopamine rush of Buying The Thing, they don't even care for the thing, it's the act of buying. Everything else they say is just an attempt to mystify this
This is why, if you're going to obsessively "collect" media — which I totally understand — you need to mirroring it across multiple storage devices and constantly checking and rechecking.
This is still far less work and more reliable than a Nerd Room
Conservatives — the fixation on "child transition" misses the forest for the trees.
If you are willing to "compromise" and say, "oh, well, a minor can't change their gender, but an adult can," then you've just forfeited the entire issue.
The "trans" issue is a question of whether we accept reality or not. Can a person "change their gender," yes or no? Can a man "become a woman," yes or no?
By fixating on minute aspects of the issue, rather than the broader claims and first principles, you are engaging with and validating those claims.
I don't care how old a person is or what the "context" is, they could be 3, 13, or 30 — they cannot "change their gender" or "become" the opposite sex — this is the basic proposition and you either accept it or reject, period.
Sexologists and "gender theorists" have played a very long game to ingrain the concept of "gender" into the public consciousness, and they constantly play bait-and-switch games with the verbiage.
One moment, they'll say "sex and gender are distinct from one another," but when discussing "trans issues" they'll go right back to conflating it — they will constantly slip up and say things like "transitioning to male/female" instead of "transition to man/woman" — this reveals that even they don't view "gender" as a discrete concept.
"Gender" is nothing more than a rhetorical device designed to validate the delusional urges of people who fetishize the idea of "becoming" the opposite sex.
Everyone, including gender ideologues, is well-aware that a male body can never "become" a female one and vice-versa. But they will slip up and say that it can because that's what the delusion/fetish is actually about.
We were created Male and Female — there IS NO OTHER CHOICE — period, end of. Even to the degree that biological exceptions exist in the form of congenital defects and chromosomal disorders, these are, by definition, NOT choices and are not remotely comparable to trans delusions.
It's wild to see troons trying to compare their fetish to stuff like Complete Androgen Insensitivity or Klinefelter syndrome, as if anyone would ever *choose* to be afflicted with these conditions.
