SitRep - 18/07/24 - Zelenskyi visited The UK

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Zelenskyi visited The UK for a Political Summit where he was welcomed by former Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhnyi. Also new aid was pledged to Ukraine.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours.
Overnight, Russia attacked Ukraine with a small mix of missiles and drones of which most were shot down.
A Russian BMP destroyed.
In Kreminna forest, Azov fighters captured three Russian infantrymen.
Satellite images confirmed the strike on a military base in occupied Crimea. It inflicted significant damage.
Military equipment was damaged inside Russia by the Freedom of Russia Legion, known for their border incursions.
A Russian T-90 destroyed.
The 79th Air Assault Brigade once again showed why they are one of Ukraine's most elite brigades.
A strong fire broke out in a military plant in Russia.
The SBU released footage of a combined drone attack on a coast guard base in occupied Crimea.
The 58th brigade destroyed lots of Russian supply vehicles.
The newest artillery piece Malva was struck by Ukrainian FPVs, the exact damage inflicted is still unknown.
A Russian infantry group mowed down by a Ukrainian Bradley M2A2 IFV.

Zelenskyi went for a visit to The UK where he was met by Former CiC Zaluzhnyi, now Ambassador of Ukraine to The UK.
Zelenskyi spoke at the European Political Community Summit.
He met with Vučić, President of Serbia.
And he met with Prime Minister Sanchez from Spain.
Two new security agreements were signed.
In Poland, an investigation has started to a state owned company selling parts to Iranian companies that end up in Shahed drones attacking Ukraine.
Von der Leyen was re-elected.
France is preparing new aid which will be supplied in the remainder of 2024.
This is an effect of Ukraine ramping up drone development and production.

SitRep - 17/07/24 - 10 years after MH17 🕯️

SitRep - 16/07/24 - The AFU left Krynky
