Avail DA introduces the first modular data availability layer that combines validity proofs and data availability sampling enabling entire networks of blockchains to scale.
Avail DA enables:
• L2 solutions to reduce operational costs and enhance scalability by implementing Validiums, Optimiums or Sovereign Rollups.
• RaaS providers to build with a robust, validity proof based DA layer that’s optimized for ZK tech.
• Blockchain devs to access scalable blockspace for their modular tech stack.
• The token is live, and token holders can stake their AVAIL on .staking.avail.tools

Story so far: In late 2020, @anuragarjun teamed up with @prabalbanerjee to build digital, trust-minimized systems that help increase trust in our modern society.
They honed in on the crucial importance of a credibly neutral data availability (DA) layer that would empower blockchains to scale more efficiently - and build the foundation for a unification layer to solve fragmentation across web3.
Avail has captured the interests of the industry’s leading investors including Peter Thiel’s @FoundersFund, @Dragonfly_xyz, @cyberFund_, and many more.
They honed in on the crucial importance of a credibly neutral data availability (DA) layer that would empower blockchains to scale more efficiently - and build the foundation for a unification layer to solve fragmentation across web3.

The Avail network can support up to 1000 validators and uses an NPoS consensus mechanism, which provides more equitable reward distributions to validators and decentralization to the network.
Avail is starting with a genesis set of validators and will be rolling out in phases to support all 1000.
