In Ukraine, the Biden-Harris administration stumbled into war through weakness. President Trump would introduce peace through strength. Here’s what a successful Ukraine peace plan could look like:
First, at home, we must unleash America's energy potential and bulk up our defense industry. This would fire up our economy and show our adversaries, especially Russia and China, that they can’t compete with our defense capabilities.
Second, we must lift all restrictions on the weapons Ukraine can obtain and use, create a "lend lease program" so American taxpayers aren't footing the bill anymore, and impose real sanctions that don't exempt Russian banks if their transactions are related to energy production.
Finally, we must strengthen our alliances in Europe and beyond. Make Europeans pay their fair share: raise NATO member's spending commitments to 3% of GDP.
In the Middle East, rebuild ties with Saudi Arabia and Israel and work together against Iran. This would stabilize the region once more and create an opening for the Saudis to join the U.S. in squeezing Russia out of global energy markets.
Today, I had the privilege of addressing the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party.
My message was clear: China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela represent a new axis of evil regimes that is pushing a dangerous model for the world. And China is at the center.
We have wars raging in Eastern Europe and in the Middle East. Our southern border is being overrun on an unprecedented scale. A war in South America is a real possibility, and the threat of armed conflict in East Asia is growing ever more likely.
We must recognize that the Chinese Communist Party links these crises together. Its support for Iran, Russia, North Korea and Venezuela have made the world far less safe.
The CCP’s challenge is here at home, too: in our research labs, our government research institutions, and our information space. The CCP is inside the gates.
-We've seen wokeism spread through many American institutions--academia, Hollywood, and even big business.
When wokeism takes over, the institution becomes nothing more than a tool to advance left-wing policies.
We can't let that happen to our military.
This sickness has taken hold in the Air Force. The Air Force Academy has a fellowship that excludes "cisgendered" men. They tell cadets not to say "mom & dad." And they even discourage using the word "terrorist.”
This is a Marxist dogma that says your race and gender define who you are--not the content of your character.
It's the antithesis of everything that makes America great. And of the values that I and all our troops fought for.
