Tommy Robinson was a close family friend of the McLaren family featured in his #SILENCED documentary, but not once does he mention this.
This demonstrates a clear bias in his reporting and begs the question - why did he rush into the story so quickly?
Was Tommy trying to help a random British family against an unjust two-tier system? Or was he trying helping his mate, bungled it, and had to spin a story afterwards to make it profitable and save face?

Tommy’s friend Reece McLaren, older brother of Bailey (the subject of the film), is a former EDL member and later was a member of Britain First.
Reece is currently on remand for smuggling cocaine in Jersey and has a history of violence.
His mother was also arrested for racial abuse. None of this was mentioned in Tommy's #SILENCED documentary. Why? Because it looks bad. Obviously.

Tommy was unable to prove his claims in court, you can read the judgement online. It's pretty simple.
He was not able to produce evidence up to a reasonable standard. He was also given a lot of leeway by the court.

Tommy lost the case, was ordered to pay damages and was given STRICT conditions not to repeat these claims in any capacity or he faced jail time. He was told this in 2021.

This isn't the first time he's done this. He also made false claims towards journalist Lizzie Dearden's partner back in 2021 - calling him a paedophile and harassing them outside their home in the middle of the night.
The reason? Dearden was about to publish an article about how he had been spending donation money on cocaine. Shocker.

But by the time of sentencing for the Jamal Hijazi case, Tommy had already spun the entire thing into a documentary called #SILENCED - which he was desperate to put out.
He was told not to release it by the judge, and instead tried to distribute it to Alex Jones, Gareth Icke and a few others.

But yesterday, predictably, he doubled down. Screening the #SILENCED in Trafalgar Square to an audience of thousands, and posting it on X - where it's been seen over a million times.

Tommy's flaunting his last chance in the limelight to garner sympathy, but it’s worth reminding everyone that his erratic and harassing behaviour towards the Syrian family caused them untold damage.
Physically, mentally, they were left absolutely destroyed by his libellous claims and had to move house several times due to death threats from Tommy supporters.
