After delivering on MassReconnect, we saw a nearly 45% spike in students ages 25+ who enrolled in community college.
These new students drove an 8% overall enrollment growth across Massachusetts community colleges, reversing a decade of declines. So we're making history again.

Building on the success of MassReconnect, we’re establishing MassEducate, which will make community college free in Massachusetts.

We need to make transportation more reliable and more affordable. So that's what we're doing.
We're doubling our operating support for the MBTA. We're funding the T’s reduced fare program for low-income riders, and fare free bus service at our 15 Regional Transit Authorities.

We’re using Fair Share funding to leverage $1 billion of investment capacity for transportation infrastructure – including roads, bridges, and rails. That could mean as much as $300 million, right away, to accelerate the elimination of MBTA slow zones.
We're going to keep leading on climate, maintaining the historic levels of funding we secured last year.
And our communities need protection now. So this budget establishes the permanent Disaster Relief Fund.
