Since the international "left" is so convinced Venezuela is not a dictatorship and the voice of the people is being heard with these elections, here's a thread:

✨poor/indigenous/racialized people protesting/voting against the Maduro government in the last 48 hours✨
"We're not the rich people, this is the hood". Protests against the public results in Petare, the largest slum in Latin America.

More from other areas of Petare, where rain hasn't stopped the people from demanding their votes to be respected.
Votes counted in San Martín, another impoverished area in the capital city of Caracas.

Protests in San Diego, Carabobo, where election workers say 80% of the votes in their center support the opposition candidate.
Election workers announce their results in the rural town of Bailadores, Mérida. It shows Maduro had less than 10% of the votes.
Protests in downtown Caracas, only blocks away from the presidential residence and a well-known low-income area.
Votes counted in Catia, another big slum in Caracas. Maduro lost by over 1,000 votes in that center alone.
La Vega, a highly populated slum in the capital, has been protesting against the results since last night.
Araure, Portuguesa, an agricultural town in the west side of the country, counting votes. Maduro only had around 12% of the votes.
A different voting center in the Catia slum. Maduro had less than a third of the votes.
More slums in downtown Caracas protesting against the "results". Protesters are being shot as they sing "this government is gonna fall".
Antímano, another slum in Caracas, protesting today against the results.

Caricuao and Ruiz Pineda slums protesting today.
Protests today in El Junquito, a rural area on the capital's outskirts.
Protests in the Cota 905 area, known for being the neighborhood with the highest crime rates in the country. In 2015, Maduro created the deadly OLP group to "fight crime", arbitrarily killing hundreds of residents.
Protests in Caucagüita, a small impoverished town in Miranda.
Cota 905 where election representatives refused to share the results from their center because of the undeniable win from the opposition. "We don't want bonuses, we want Nicolás gone", they chant, referring to the social programs used to influence voting.
Petare last night celebrating the opposition's win in their neighborhood. Petare used to be a big chavismo voter until these elections. They yell "in Petare we don't want you, Nicolás, leave".
Votes counted in the small rural area of Paracotos, Miranda.
Only a third of the voters supported Maduro in El Manicomio, another slum in Caracas.
Votes in the indigenous community of Kanaimö, where the opposition also won.
Valle Lindo in Anzoátegui, a historically chavista neighborhood.
Catia again, celebrating that the opposition had outnumbered Maduro in their area.
23 de Enero is one of the biggest slums in the country, where Chavez used to vote and is currently buried. The opposition had twice as many votes as Maduro.
