HUGE response for Kamala Harris as she takes the stage in Atlanta. Listen to this!
move over, Kid Rock
Kamala Harris in Georgia: "The path to the White House runs right through this state. And you all helped us win in 2020 and we're gonna do it again in 2024."
Harris: "I took on perpetrators of all kinds ... so hear me when I say I know Donald Trump's type."
Harris: "I went after transnational gangs, drug cartels, & human traffickers that came into our country illegally. I prosecuted them in case after case & won. Trump on the other hand has been talking a big game...as my friend Quavo would say, he does not walk it like he talks it"
Kamala Harris: "As president I will bring back the border security bill that Donald Trump killed and I will sign it into law and show Donald Trump what real leadership looks like."
Kamala Harris: "By many indicators our economy is the strongest in the world. But while inflation is down and wages are up, prices are still too high. You know it and I know it ... on day one i will take on price gouging and bring down costs."
Harris talks about Project 2025 and says, "we are not going back!" The crowd responds with big "We're not going back!" chants.
Kamala Harris: "Ours is a fight for the future. And it is a fight for freedom...the freedom of a woman to make decision about her own body & not have the government tell her what to do...generations of Americans before us led the fight for freedom. Now the baton is in our hands"
Harris: "We are the underdogs in this race. We are. But you see, this is a people-powered campaign. In fact, after I announced my candidacy, we saw the best week of grassroots fundraising in presidential history. So the momentum of this race is shifting."
Harris criticizes Trump for pulling out of the debate with her, then adds, "but he and his running mate seem to have a lot to say about me. And by the way, don't you find some of that stuff to be just plain weird? ... if you got something to say, say it to my face."
Harris wraps up her speech in Atlanta on a rousing note. I can't believe how good the vibes are compared to just a couple weeks ago. Man.

I'll be tweeting clips from @PatrioticMills's "How to Beat the Broligarchs" event this morning in this thread as part of my partnership with @SnapStream. Follow along!
Elizabeth Wilkins: "People are looking for different ideas. The bad version is that an undermining of people's faith in democracy leads to authoritarianism. The good version is that we get together to think about what we need in terms of power the ideas and the people to create a new common sense -- one that brings us back for the modern era to that marriage of democracy and capitalism, where democracy shapes markets for the public good."
@PatrioticMills @SnapStream Patriotic Millionaires founder Erica Payne: "Here's what happened. Doesn't matter who's in charge. Tax rates for the rich always go down."
Maria Bartiromo on a weaker than expected February jobs report: "The jobs picture is weakening. Weaker than expected jobs again in the month of February tells you that the Fed is gonna cut rates!"
BARTIROMO: We've got a meeting coming up. Does anyone on this panel think the Fed is gonna cut rates at the next meeting?
STEPHEN MOORE: Well, I don't think they should. I just don't see a case for lower interest rates right now. We still have inflation at the 3-4% range.

Wyden: "Mr Kennedy has embraced conspiracy theories, quacks, charlatans, especially when it comes to the safety and efficacy of vaccines. He has made it his life's work to sow doubt and to discourage parents from getting their kids lifesaving vaccines. It has been lucrative for him."

Sen. Roger Wicker: "This nomination is unconventional, just like that New York developer who rode down the escalator in 2015 to announce his candidacy for president. That may be what makes Mr. Hegseth an excellent choice."
