The Resurrection of Kang The Conqueror

His return from out of the Beyond Zone explained from the scrapped Avengers: The Kang Dynasty by Micheal Waldron and Jeff Loveness. Image
The Second Coming of Kang..

After Kang the Conqueror’s fight with Antman, Kang was hurled and shrunk into the Multiversal Engine Core. Kang went subatomic into several thousand dimensions.

Kang ends up exiting out of the multiverse. He enters a “void” that is known as the BEYOND ZONE.

Kang finds himself trapped In the Beyond Zone. The Beyond Zone is strange reality surrounded by an extremely strong probability storm.Image
Image
Image
Image
The energy from the probability storm gives him the ability to create multiplicity of himself (clones)…similar to what Antman experienced.

Kang’s clones begin to multiply rapidly. The clones try to take superiority over one another and Kang is left fighting them and trying to regain control of his clones along with his mind.

Kang engages in a deep battle with his clones. The war he is having with his clones is also metaphorical as it represents Kang’s fight over his mind/inner demons. It is revealed he lives in regret of not being able to save his pregnant wife and his civilization.

All of this leads to Kang’s mind descending into straight fucking chaos.Image
Image
Image
Image
Kang understands if he is to get out of here he must conquer his mind before he conquers reality. And by doing this he must come to terms and stop living in regret over not being able to save his pregnant wife.

Quick backstory: Kang Waged a war on the Council of Kangs after he discovered they would one day be responsible for destroying the Multiverse due to them causing incursions.

Kang’s solution was conquering and erasing the other Kangs and their entire universes.

Kang destroys countless universes and timelines. This is a billion times worse then what Thanos did. It’s an unimaginable number of lives that have been killed. Kang’s hands are filled with the blood of trillions and trillions across the Mutliverse.

Kang was eventually defeated and captured by the Council of Kangs. As punishment the Council of Kangs killed his pregnant wife and burned his kingdom to the ground. He was exiled to the quantum realm.Image
Image
Image
Image
Kang accepts the reality of his situation but he understands that there is no other choice, that he committed these unspeakable atrocities to preserve reality. It is the only way. Even if he has to experience the pain of losing his wife and unborn child a million times, he MUST destroy the Dynasty of Kangs and save the multiverse.

Kang regains control of his mind and his clones stop fighting one another. They begin to bow before Kang.

Kang has learned the strength to conquer his mind. The clones chant his name:

KANG! KANG! KANG!

This finally gives Kang the weapon he’s always coveted: an infinite army of Kang clones that are as exactly as vengeful as he is and have his exact mission objectives unlike all the different types of Kang variants the council of Kangs has.Image
Image
Image
Image
This now gives Kang the Conquerer the chance to win against the Council of Kangs who have defeated him before. He will now return to the Multiverse more powerful then anyone could ever imagine.

“I will burn them out of time!”

Kang and his army of clones ASCEND out of the Beyond Zone and rapidly through many dimensions of space and time.

As this happens he begins to absorb strong Quantum waves which gives him the powers of the Beyond Zone.

Kang and his legions of clones are now headed to Earth-616 to destroy the Council of Kangs who have conquered and destroyed most of earth and the Avengers.Image
Image
Image
Image
This was supposed to be Kang’s big arc and it was one of the important subplots in the movie similar to Thanos’ journey to acquire the infinity stones.

Kang being hurled into the Multiversal Engine code was just the beginning for his plans of conquest in the MCU.

What’s interesting about Jonathan Major’s performance as Kang the Conqueror is reminiscent of Shakespeare’s Othello.. a tragic figure who felt betrayed and waited years and years to exact his revenge on those who betrayed him.

Kang’s story in the MCU is now over but it would have been really cool to see him rising up out of the beyond zone and dimensions. A badass moment that we will no longer get unfortunately. This would have been the answer to those crazy “beaten by ants” narratives. Kang is and always will be an Avengers level threat. The writing here was definitely an upgrade over quantumania.Image

🚨🚨 Avengers: The Kang Dynasty entire SCRIPT BREAKDOWN 🚨🚨

Written by Jeff Loveness

First, Revised Draft dated: 4/28/223

🧵 Full Thread breakdown of the 168 page script (Part 2 of 2) Image
Wakanda is left in ruins, and Captain America rallies the surviving Avengers and what's left of humanity. They retreat to an underground bunker, a secret facility built by Tony Stark for just such a doomsday event, as the threat of Immortus's reign looms ever closer.

Kang the Conqueror finds himself trapped in a chaotic confrontation with his clones in the Beyond Zone.

His emotional stability unravels when one clone utters the name "Ravona," sparking an uncontrollable spiral of rage and despair. As his mind breaks down, thousands of clones converge on him, overwhelming him until the last shred of light fades. Kang reaches out in desperation, but is consumed by darkness of the realm.

Over a black screen, Janet's voice calls out, "Who is Kang?"

This marks the beginning of Kang's descent into a eerie part of the Beyond Zone where Kang’s mind in unraveling and we finally get to see his past:

In this abyss, Kang’s terror intensifies as he falls through darkness, surrounded by the haunting memories he has tried to suppress. Flashbacks of his childhood with Ravona, running hand-in-hand through a wheat field, fill his mind, quickly followed by scenes of massacres he committed—exterminating timelines and killing innocent civilians across multiple worlds.

The flashbacks become more intense, showing Kang's deep love for Ravona as teenagers and their eventual marriage.

However, his love is overshadowed by his brutal acts of violence, including the slaughter of many different variants of The Avengers.

The abyss around him grows darker, and Kang’s cries for help echo into the void as he recalls moments of tenderness with Ravona, like holding her pregnant belly. Yet, his atrocities continue to haunt him, with images of him murdering more innocent lives and the variants of those he once cherished.

Kang’s emotional agony deepens as he plunges further into the probability storm. As he falls, the last bit of light extinguishes, and he is enveloped by the cold, isolating dark.

He realizes that if he is to escape this mental prison and save reality, he must first conquer his mind. Allowing his demons to consume him, Kang finally makes peace with the idea that his actions, though horrific, were necessary for the survival of the multiverse. He remembers his love for Ravona and, as everything around him bursts into flames, he faces the truth: his war with many different Avengers and his destruction of countless universes, was all to prevent a greater catastrophe at the hands of the Council of Kangs.

His hands are stained with the blood of trillions, yet he feels no other choice but to continue down this path of destruction. He must save the Multiverse from his variants.Image

As Kang faces the consequences of his decisions, his mind returns to the moment he last saw Ravona. The two argued bitterly before his departure to wage war on the other Kangs. Ravona begged him to stay, reminding him that fate had a different path for them, but Kang refused to listen, driven by paranoia and the belief that he must protect their future at any cost. Through the powers of the Beyond Zone, Kang astral projects himself to relive that moment, pleading with his former self to stop and cherish what he had. But his former self leaves, and Ravona is left weeping alone. The vision leaves Kang broken and consumed by regret.

Kang's journey continues as he is ambushed and captured by the Council of Kangs, his trial held in a sadistic amphitheater where the other Kangs revel in his misery. Immortus, Rama-Tut, and Centurion sentence him to exile, a punishment which Kang accepts with defiance, though he pleads for his wife’s safety. Immortus coldly informs him that Ravona and his kingdom will meet him in the afterlife, further crushing Kang’s spirit. As he is led to his execution, Kang remembers moments of tenderness with Ravona—when he held her pregnant belly and when he leapt from his throne to catch her as she fell. Just as he faces exile, Kang makes a daring escape, blasting off into the multiverse, hands outstretched in a desperate attempt to save what he once loved.

Kang's journey reaches a devastating conclusion as he crash-lands back in his destroyed world. His kingdom is in ruins, the wheat fields and apple trees burned, leaving only the skeleton of his former life.

Terrified, he approaches the site where Ravona’s body is hanged, barely recognizable in its horrific state. His grief overwhelms him, and he collapses, digging her grave in the blackened earth. As he buries her, he speaks through his tears, telling her to wait for him in the shadow of the trees.

But as Kang mourns, the Council of Kangs appears once again. In his despair, Kang reaches out to create a "circle" in the dirt, symbolizing his goal for a singular, perfect timeline—his timeline—free of the chaos he believes the other Kangs have wrought. His vengeance and resolve grow as he stands, sand slipping from his fists, facing the Council with eyes filled with fury.Image

🚨🚨 Avengers: The Kang Dynasty entire SCRIPT BREAKDOWN 🚨🚨

Written by Jeff Loveness

First, Revised Draft dated: 4/28/223

🧵 Full Thread breakdown of the 168 page script (Part 1 of 2) Image
The movie opens with Kang as he strolls through serene rose fields, his fingers brushing the petals gently.

As Kang picks a rose, his gaze shifts to a woman standing in the distance near a farmhouse, stirring memories of home, family, and a life he may have once known.

Suddenly, the peaceful scene is shattered by the sound of shouting, pulling Kang out of his daydream and back to a more chaotic reality.

Fast cuts reveal Kang's intense battle with Ant-Man from the ending of Quantumania, where he’s driven dangerously close to the Multiversal Engine Core. Kang’s once-confident expression turns to one of shock as he realizes his impending fate. He is engulfed by the core's energy, his body distorting and shrinking as he is drawn into the chaotic and infinite realms beyond.

As Kang plummets through the Multiversal Engine Core, his body begins contracting rapidly, losing all sense of scale and cohesion as he falls deeper into the Multiverse Blender. His form turns into an ethereal silhouette, surrounded by a dizzying array of colors and lights.

He’s hurled through the chaos of alternate realities, each one more bizarre and incomprehensible than the last. The kaleidoscope of visuals overwhelms him as he screams in agony, unable to process the rapid, disorienting shifts.

Eventually, Kang is hurled out of the multiverse and into The Beyond Zone, where he finds himself hurtling through a dark, vortex. As he descends further, the light shifts in and out, creating a visual representation of a four-dimensional rabbit hole, constantly flickering between light and dark, almost as if the space itself is speaking to him.

Kang’s desperate struggle to hang on to the nothingness around him grows more intense as he continues to plunges.

The sensation of speed is blinding at first, but soon, Kang slows and eventually he comes to a stop, and lands hard in the eerie quiet of this dimension.

Kang is surrounded by swirling energy, chaotic shapes, and colors that defy explanation, amplifying his sense of isolation and confusion. As he floats in the silence, the energy occasionally takes form before dissipating back into the void.

His eyes close in a moment of vulnerability as he quietly whispers a name—"Ravonna."

His voice carries a deep sense of longing and regret, echoing in the vast emptiness of the strange dimension.

Disconnected from everything he once knew.Image

In the chaotic realm known as the Nexus of All Realities, the Watchers—led by Uatu—confront Immortus and the Council of Kangs, who have come to assert their dominance over the multiverse.

Using their immense powers, the Watchers manage to freeze the Kang fleet in stasis, holding them at bay. Immortus, calm and authoritative, sits at the head of the table with his lieutenants: the eager-to-please Rama-Tut and the skeptical Centurion. Uatu warns Immortus of the consequences of the Council’s actions, urging him to reconsider before they destroy everything.

However, Immortus dismisses these warnings, asserting that the multiverse can only be saved through his divine rule.

The Council of Kangs retaliates, unleashing a devastating time-warping blast that shatters the Watchers' defenses and undoes their control over the fleet. Immortus, using a temporal rift, banishes Uatu to the edges of time, overpowering the Watchers and erasing them from existence. As Immortus stands victorious, he coldly dismisses Rama-Tut's quest for approval and reveals his total control over all destinies.

The Centurion, still doubtful about Immortus’ true motives, expresses concern, but Immortus chillingly asserts that fear is what keeps them alive. With the Watchers gone, the Council of Kangs prepares for battle, unfreezing their warships and setting their sights on Earth-616 to destroy the Avengers and retrieve Shang-Chi’s Ten Rings and Ms. Marvel’s Nega-Bands—relics of immense power from the previous Multiversal War that could reshape reality and rid the Mutliverse of all Heroes and Murants as they pose a threat to the Kangs.

As the Nexus of All Realities falls into disarray, time and reality begin to slowly fracture.

Marvel originally had a mid credit scene written and planned for Deadpool and Wolverine which invovled the Council of Kangs discovering the location of Shang-Chi’s 10 rings and Ms Marvel’s Nega-bands.

Here’s everything that was written and planned for the deleted mid-credit scene.Image

The Kang Amphitheater

Legions of Kangs in armored battle suits are knelling. Their eye’s rolled back to their heads in a strange trance-like-state.

A withered, old “Kang Priest Variant” with red eyes leads them in a wailing chant in an menacing ancient language

Kang Soldiers ritualistically drink and pass bowls of blood amongst each other.

On the main alter, upside down ‘X’ shaped crosses fill the space. Blood flows down from the crucified “prisoners”.

The “prisoners” are revealed to belong to the variants of Professor X, Magneto, Wolverine, Cyclops, and other X-men team members.

Some of the crucified X-men variants
are from the Fox movies: Days of Future Past, First Class, X2, Last Stand etcImage

Inside The Throne Room

The Main trio (Immortus, Centurion and Rama-Tut) meet. The Centurion refuses to kneel.

The Centuriun questions Immortus’ ability to lead since some Kangs have gone missing. (TVA rounding up Kangs) and now that the hero’s have supposedly “killed” the Exiled One (Kang the Conqueror)

Immortus reveals to them he has found the location of Nega-Bands (Ms Marvel) and Shang Chi’s 10 rings since it is transmitting a beacon/signal from Earth-616.

The Rings were actually sending the signal to Kang the Conqueror who was tracking its location before he was captured and exiled to the Quantum realm by the Council.

We find out the 10 Rings & Nega-Bands are made out of adamantium and are relics from the previous Multiversal War.

The Council wants the Nega-Bands and Ten Rings to use as batteries for a device that can reshape, create, and destroy entire realities.

The Kangs plan to exterminate the entire Multiverse of heros and Mutants so they can rule all of existence forever.

Immortus uses a spell to drag Centuriun to his knees-making him kneel before him warning that he will be crucified next if he ever doubts him again.

Immortus throws down a large necklace with the skulls belonging to variants variants of the X-Men: including Professor X, Wolverine and others.Image

Everyone knows the original ending of Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania was changed. Here’s everything else you didn’t know.. Image
Kang and Ant-man

Kang offered Ant-Man a deal: "Help me
and I'll give you the time you lost."

He was offering to send Scott to a different universe where he could be a father to Cassie.

Ant-Man agreed but backed out when he learned exactly HOW Kang would do it: he'd kill the Scott who was already existing in that universe.

Test audiences hated this plot line because of something the writers never considered: the original Cassie would still be there, and her dad would've effectively abandoned her again.

The only thing that remains of that subplot is Kang's line: "we can help each other."Image
Modok

Modok was meant to have a grotesque, hideous deformed face, showing the character's shrinking tech suffered a catastrophic malfunction.

He would also be in constant pain.

Marvel changed this because the story was already dark and they didn’t want to make it even darker.Image

🚨🚨The Origins of Immortus and Jonathan Majors scrapped scenes from Agatha: All Along explained 🚨🚨

The origins for Immortus were intended to be dark and shown during a critical moment when Agatha and the Coven of Witches are making their way through the Witch’s road and trials.

Immortus Origins

Immortus was born into a slave family that practices witchcraft in Ancient Egypt which at the time is under the rule of En-Sabha-Nur (Apocalypse) and his followers. His mother is part of an ancient coven of witches.

Immortus befriends another slave girl around his age: Ravonna (variant of Ravonna Renslayer)Image

Immortus’ mother and the other witches in the coven start a rebellion against Apocalypse and his four horsemen.

Immortus’ mother dies in his arms during a battle, she warns her son not to repeat her mistake, and to leave the Mutants in peace.

**This is where Immortus’ hate for Mutants and superheroes begins. This also explains why Immortus and the Council of Kangs went to war with the X-men in the original X-men 97’ season 2 planes along with Wolverine’s backstory involving Immortus from Deadpool & Wolverine.Image

Captain America’s Last Stand

Captain America walks out alone and stands before Immortus and the legions of bloodthirsty Kangs.

He offers his head in exchange that the Council of Kangs allows the other Avengers and the humans a chance to live. Immortus finds Captain America’s bravery to be foolish but also impressive.

Immortus instead offers Sam a chance to submit his soul to the Kangs. They want Captain America to be their “Messenger of Death” and have him execute all the Superhero’s and Mutants across the Multiverse.

Immortus demands Captain America/Sam Wilson show his submission to the Council by bowing before them.

Captain America stands tall and still. He looks down at the shield that he is clutching tightly. The shield that once belonged to his Friend, the same shield Steve Rodgers had held as he once stood against Thanos and his army.Image
