SitRep - 02/08/24 - Another S-400 complex destroyed in occupied Crimea?

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Overnight, Ukraine struck occupied Crimea, reportedly destroying S-400 launchers and a radar south of Sevastopol.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours.
Yesterday and today, 11 mostly recon drones were taken out.
Today, another 5 drones were downed.
During the night, lots of explosions were reported in occupied Crimea. The area that was hit south of Sevastopol, is said to be a well known S-400 air defense system position with 4 launchers on a MAZ-543 base and a 92N6 radar.
Alleged ATACMS launches from the attack itself.
A Russian assault group in Vovchansk was disabled.
A Russian soldier gets attacked by a Ukrainian FPV drone.
Russian sources confirm that Ukraine has attacked a 500kV substation in Krasnodar.
Lets continue with the general events. The European Commission is preparing for a Trump administration.
The second Ukrainian corvette was launched yesterday!
Today 250 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine.
Croatie might transfer its old Russian and Yugoslavian equipment to Ukraine.

Unfortunately, Russians have cut the highway between Vuhledar and Kostiantynivka, newly geolocated footage shows. Assaults into the suburbs of Konstiantynivka are already ongoing. Russians are pushing very heavily. Image
Avdiivka direction, south of Vovche, Russians advanced towards Zhelanne. It won't take too long before this settlement will be contested as well, given the current speed of advance. The situation near Avdiivka isn't looking good, at all. Image
