A thread 🧵

(I forgot to add these in the first part)
Patrick "Eel" O'Brian aka Plastic Man in episode three

Lois Lane from the "Fleischer Superman" cartoons in episode 4 alongside with Jimmy Olsen

Image
In episode five Harleen names two streets: Wilson & Lowery which are references to Lewis Wilson and Robert Lowery the first two Batman actors in the live-action.

Image
Image
Episode Six:
A homage to the iconic highway scene in The Batman Movie.
Image
Image
Alfred's quote here is from Adam West's Batman (1966) TV series which originally was taken from Shakespeare.

Alfred also quotes Sherlock Holmes in this scene. Holmes was one of many inspirations for Bill Finger when he created Batman.

Image
When Bruce is in the library, he comes across the name "Moldoff" a reference to the legendary artist Sheldon Moldoff who co-created Poison Ivy, Mr Freeze, Batgirl, Batwoman, and Ace the bat hound.

Image
Image
Image
The fight between Batman and Gentleman Ghost was inspired by Batman #319, where even in that Comic, Batman doesn't believe that Gentleman Ghost is a real Supernatural being.

Image
Image
Image
In the final fight, Gentleman Ghost possesses Alfred similar to Batman #310 where he did the same and kidnapped him.

Episode Seven:
The person who tries to shoot Barbara Gordon is Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot
Image
Image
Later on, we find out the person who hired Floyd to Kill Gordon was Josef Muller, a cop and one of the "Three Ghosts of Gotham" (Dr Hurt's attempts to create his own Batman) he is also known as Bat-Cop.

Image
Image
The person who betrays Barbara is James Corrigan a Gotham City Police Detective who becomes the divine spirit of vengeance, "the Spectre" after his death.
Image
Image
A street in Gotham is named "Nicholson" which is a reference to Jack Nicholson, who played the role of Joker.

Image
Episode eight:
This episode introduces us to this world's Dick Grayson and Jason Todd who are both orphans in the Leslie Thompkins orphanage. Jason also has his original Hair colors.

Image
Image
Image
Dick Grayson's origin seems to be different. He and his family were never part of the circus but he still carries his passion for the circus life and carnivals.
Image
Image
Bruce is with Julie Madison at the carnival, his first-ever love interest and fiance.
Image
Image
We also meet with Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen again in this episode. Image
Stephanie Brown, another popular member of the Bat Family.
Image
Image
Waylon Jones, aka Killer Croc, is a member of Carnival, just like most of his other origin stories, which show him as an alligator wrestler or a simple attraction at sideshow carnivals.

Image
Image
Image
When Bruce goes back to the car we see Alfred reading a novel about Gray Ghost.
In BTAS, Gray Ghost was Bruce's favorite TV show and one of his inspirations for becoming Batman.

Image
Image
Image
Carrie Kelley another Robin that appears in this episode with her favorite weapon.
Image
Image
This episode ends with Harvey's transformation to Two-Face.
His origin here is a mix of his classic origin and his BTAS origin (Rupert Thorne involvement)

Image
Image
Image
Image
Episode Nine and Ten:
This scene where Harvey dreams about being elected as the mayor was taken from Citizen Kane movie by Orson Welles.

Image
Image
Image
Harvey Dent's similar design to his first appearance back in Detective Comics #66
Image
Image
When Barbara asks for a way to contact Batman, He gives her one of his numbers which is 555-0127

555 Is a fictional prefix for phone numbers used by Movies and TV shows because it doesn't exist and 0127 refers to Batman's first appearance in the Detective Comics.

Image
Image
Image
Also, Contacting Batman with a Phone is another reference to the Adam West's Batman (1966) TV series

Image
Image
Image
The ending of episode ten and Harvey's Death is similar to The Dark Knight (2008) movie.

Image
Image
Image
A homage to the iconic shot from BTAS.

Image
Image
Image
And finally, season one of The Batman Caped Crusader ends with a tease of Joker perfecting his Joker Venom.
