Update from Z-blogger Romanov about the current situation:
➡️Korenevo still under Russian control but the population is evacuated
➡️According to him, Sudzha is still under UA control despire Russian attacks which failed
➡️There is bad communication, likely due to jamming, therefore Russian positions are difficult to determine
➡️Ukraine brought up reserves and introduced them into the region overnight
➡️Instead of what the Russian MoD claims, Ukraine isn't bogged down and is still actively maneuvring.
Overnight, Russia has pulled up more aviation to the Kursk region. The sound of (Ka-52/Mil Mi-24) helicopters were heard. Hopefully AFU has the Stingers ready.
The Russian MoD released footage of Lancet kamikaze drones striking at Ukrainian equipment such as M113 APCs, Stryker combat vehicles and Bradley M2A2 IFV's. No war goes without losses, and it shows the seriousness of this operation.
According to Russian sources. PMC Wagner forces stationed in Belarus as well as units from the Aida group of the Akhmat Special Forces were pulled up to the Kursk region.
Multiple Russian sources now report that heavy fighting is ongoing on the approaches of Korenovo. Where -as they claim- Ukrainian units including lots of armored vehicles are pressing inside the town. It is likely that Ukraine has expanded its the flank towards Snagost' but we need further confirmation.

Interesting claim from Russian source Two Majors. They claim that 6-7 Ukrainian tanks were firing on the village of Ivnitsa. Which means they must be in the close vicinity (2-3km). Ivnitsa is 12km from the current front in the Kursk region.
Situation in the Kursk region. Streets are empty and lots of abandoned and destroyed vehicles can be seen. Russia brought war to its own soil.

Wounded Z-war correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny was taken to the Sklifosovsky Institute of Emergency Care in Moscow. Yesterday he was hit by an FPV near Sudzha, after which he was initially claimed dead. Later it turned out he was not dead, but heavily wounded and treated in Kursk.
Preliminary reports indicate that fighting is ongoing near the village of Anastas'evka. This would mean Ukraine has bypassed Sudzha from the west and pushed further north. This still needs further confirmation.

I am reading this in a lot of Russian channels. Russians are warning for Ukrainian DRG groups, working deep behind enemy lines.

The "North" group defeated AFU brigades in Kursk, Sumy and Kharkiv regions, enemy losses amounted to up to 415 military, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Russian channels closely related to PMC Wagner confim the deployment to the Kursk region of the Ratibor group (1st assault squadron), lead by well known senior Wagner commander Alexander Kuznetsov, callsign Ratibor. He is one of Wagner's founders.
The Kursk region has been hit by a massive DDoS attack, causing many services to go down and become temporarily unavailable. Specialists from the regional Ministry of Digital Development and Communications said they are working to restore the functionalities.
Ukraine's surprise incursion into Kursk region, has caught the Russian military off guard. The operation, now in its third day, has embarrassed Putin and led to criticism of Russian military leadership.
More and more Russian channels start to worry about a new operation into the Bilhorod region besides what is happening in the Kursk region.
"There is a significant concentration of enemy forces north of Kharkiv, suggesting that new actions may soon begin in the area. The situation resembles the enemy's preparations before the offensive in the Kursk region, possibly indicating a strategy to stretch and exhaust Russian forces by forcing frequent relocations. Another front could potentially "flare up" in the coming days."
Several Russian sources report that Korenevo is not fully under Russian control anymore. While this still needs further confirmation, it shows that the AFU has indeed stepped up actions in this direction and Russia is unable to stop the advance completely.
Russians are really starting to worry.
"In Hlukhiv, near the Rylsk direction, there is active enemy electronic warfare activity, indicating an attempt to conceal troop movements. Military equipment is being moved towards the border from various directions."

➡️RU sources confirm AFU took control over Bogdanovka, Knyazhiy, 1st Knyazhiy and 2nd Knyazhiy
➡️AFU entered and grabbed a foothold in Myrnyi, the roundabout north of the town is contested.
➡️AFU is trying to encircle remaining units and is attacking towards Martynovka
➡️Sudzha almost completely under AFU control, there are some remaining pockets.
➡️Fighting has been reported and started in Snagost'
It is very much possible that the extend Ukrainian control goes beyond this map, but there is a completely info blackout from the Ukrainian side.
Three train stations in the Kursk region—Sudzha, Korenevo, and Psel—have been temporarily closed to passengers, according to the Moscow Railway.
A resident of Sudzha, Kursk region, criticized the media for lying, stating that there was no organized evacuation from the city.

"In Malaya Lokna, Khokhls (derogatory Russian term for Ukrainians) and mercenaries are going house to house and checking all buildings and basements for people."
Based on this report from a Russian source, Ukraine has already presence inside Malaya Lokna. Yet to determine from which direction.
Two Russian battalions, the 17th battalion of the 488th regiment and the 31st battalion of the 102nd brigade, are reportedly encircled near Sudzha. Z-bloggers claim that the command is aware of the situation but is not taking action.

➡️RU sources confirm AFU presence in Malaya Lokhna, adding to previous rumours.
➡️We are pretty certain this advance came through the railway tracks north of Lokhnya and via Nikol'skii-Viktorovka.
➡️AFU presence is reported in Martynovka and in the fields west of it. Waiting for confirmation.
➡️RU sources even claim Ukraine is already pushing north towards Bol'shoe Soldatskoe.
There are additionally some rumours that AFU forward units already within 30km of the Kursk NPP. These claims could not be confirmed via credible/multiple sources.
The Aida Group - 204 Special Forces Regiment Akhmat which has been withdrawn from Vovchansk, has arrived in the Kursk region.

Some Russian channels have reported that clashes have emerged near Kromskie Byki, 15km north of Malaya Lohknya (known front line), and 30km south of the Kursk NPP. Earlier this morning, Russian channels reported that Ukrainian tanks fired at Ivnitsa.
For now, this is for your information. There is no confirmation of control by Ukrainian forces of these areas.
Putin is meeting with the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexei Smirnov, to discuss the current situation in the region. Putin expressed his awareness of the overall situation but requested Smirnov's assessment and details on the organization and coordination of the work of various authorities.
According to Russian sources, there are significant changes as of 17:00.

KHORNE group of the 116th Mechanized Brigade shared footage of Ukrainian equipment reportedly entering/inside Russian territory.
"Our equipment moves on Russian soil as if it were our land. We will turn it into Ukrainian land!!!," they add.
Russian footage showing strikes on Ukrainian equipment was geolocated by Kyberboroshno east of Malaya Loknya towards Russkoe Porechnoe. Will adjust our map accordingly and publish a new map later with other updates. The location confirms that the AFU keeps rolling into previously unconfirmed area's.

➡️RU sources confirm AFU gained control over Kubatkin, Zazulevka, Yuzhnyi, Kositsa, Cherkasskoe Porechnoe, Pravda, Ivashkovskii and Russkoe Porechnoe.
This adds up to the recent geolocation of UA equipment being targetted at the most northern part of the area in which these villages are located alongside the UA advance at the R200 highway.

According to Voenkor Kotenok Z-blogger, Ukraine is actively using helicopters on Russian soil already.
"In the area near Sudzha, enemy helicopters have been spotted entering Russian airspace. They are being used for transporting personnel, ammunition, and evacuating wounded soldiers."
"Akhmat units defending the Russian-Ukrainian border in the Kursk region failed to prevent the advance of the AFU as the Ukrainian military passed by the strongholds of our special unit, Apti Alaudinov, commander of the Akhmat Special Units," said.

The AFU has captured an additional 59 Russian soldiers at a checkpoint in the city of Sudzha, Kursk region, according to sources from TSN.
Authorities in the Rylsk district of the Kursk region have announced a voluntary evacuation from the border areas.
In the village of Bolshoe Soldatskoe in the Kursk region, an evacuation is underway. Troops, including the Akhmat unit, are reportedly present in the area.

In Kursk, scammers and provocateurs are exploiting the situation by posing as Russian military personnel to extort money, spreading false information about evacuations, and sending threats from Ukrainian accounts. There have also been reports of newly created channels threatening terrorist acts.

In response to Z-blogger Kirill Fedorov's post that we posted earlier in this thread, Romanov says he also believes there are plans by the AFU to start an incursion into Bilhorod.
Ukrainian officials are now requesting that the U.S. to allow them to use long-range ATACMs to hit air fields that Russia is using to retaliate against them — a policy decision Kyiv believes will allow it to retain a portion of Kursk Oblast.
