Another day full of events in the Kursk region. In this thread I will collect all the information.
Information from Russian sources is coming in that the border village Plekhovo has been entered by the AFU. Yesterday, skirmishes were already reported. Needs further confirmation.
Did you miss yesterday's thread with events? You can find it here
Possibly as of tomorrow, we will have to rename the thread to a full 'Border operation' instead of Kursk, because this video has just emerged, allegedly showing Ukrainian forces in the border village of Poroz, Bilhorod region.
This information needs confirmation.
The video footage can be geolocated back to the Porozovsky village club in Poroz, Bilhorod region.

@GeoConfirmed
Russian Z-miliblogger Romanov claims that the village of Martynivka in the Kursk region, has also come under AFU control. We already had this applied to our map, but this is additional confirmation.
Regarding Poroz in the Bilhorod region: Russian military blogger Anatoly Radov acknowledges that the AFU has taken the border village. It looks to be due to recent operations. From Ukrainian side we read that the village has been shelled since this morning by Russians.
"Unfortunately, the Poroz thing is confirmed. As for what kind of border we have... To cover it completely, we need to mobilise at least 200,000."
Update from the Russian side regarding the Kursk region.
They note that the AFU continues to transfer reserves into the region, and consolidate their positions along the main routes. In addition, they report that at night, AFU units were moving forwards towards Lgov and Kurchatov.
So far, zero reporting about success from Russian counterattacks. The situation has been far from stabilized by the Russians.
I think we will see a video from another smoked Russian column soon.
More confirmation on Poroz.
"Poroz. Graivoron city district. The video of the Khokhls (ethnic slur for Ukrainians) with the DRG is true. Locals talk about two civilian hostages."
This consideration from a Russian source (Vostok battalion) is quite interesting. They claim that frequency ranges of the Ukrainian UAVs used in the ongoing operation were found to be beyond the range of suppression by Russian electronic warfare.
"This allowed the breakthrough units to operate more effectively than they could have done with equal competitive capabilities."
Reported as a destroyed Russian tank in the Kursk region, this morning.
Russian source reports that the AFU has entered Plekhovo.
Copium alert.
The situation in the Kursk region is under control by Russian forces, according to Apty Alaudinov. Russian units, supported by the "Akhmat" special forces, have cleared and fully control the village of Martynovka near Sudzha. Russian forces reportedly destroyed a significant amount of Ukrainian military equipment and personnel.
Russian channels now start amplifying the message that half of Martynovka would be under Russian control as clearing operations continue.
A 2K22 Tunguska self-propelled anti-aircraft gun and a BM-21 Grad MLRS of the Ukrainian Armed Forces spotted in the Kursk region through the lens of a Russian UAV.
Russians are still genuinely worried about an attack towards Rylsk and about the AFU bringing in reserves.
"The movement of enemy vehicles and infantry has been detected in the direction of Rylsk. An accumulation of enemy reserves has also been spotted in the area of Myropillya."
KHORNE group within the 116th mechanized brigade, reports additional info about the Russian column that was struck at Oktyabr'skoe, east of Rylsk.
"In the column that was f*cked up earlier near Rylsk, 490 killed orcs."
Z-propaganda television started analyzing what is happening in the Kursk region.
"Our victories are victories over strongholds, over armed enemies of NATO.. They entered the territory of peaceful villages, where there were only old men and children. But it is not important for them, it is important to show this flag over the village and to show that they are somewhere on the territory of Russia."
Russian aviation related channel Fighterbomber confirmed a Ka-52 was lost after being hit by MANPADS. We are probably looking at the confirmation of a recently shot down Ka-52 in the Kursk region.
After "Eternal Flight" we now have "Aviation takes no prisoners."
👋
A Russian State Duma member, Andrey Gurulyov, urged not to expect a quick victory over Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region, acknowledging that Ukraine has deployed significant resources for their offensive. He noted that the situation would require extensive and prolonged effort, contradicting earlier optimistic claims of a swift resolution.

Captured Russian T-62 in the Kursk region.
Evacuation of a French-supplied VAB armored personnel carrier from the Kursk region, likely damaged by a mine. Good to see Ukraine being able to recover those.
Interesting footage from the Russian side. It shows strikes from on what they claim is a 'destroyed' group of Ukrainian armored vehicles and personnel near Semenovka, roughly 11km north of Malaya Lokhnya which is our estimated front line. It indicates Ukrainian forces are operating further north. Damage cannot be assessed based on this footage.

The Federal Medical-Biological Agency of the Russian Federation has increased monitoring of radiation, chemical, and biological risks in the Kursk region, according to TASS.
Reported as new groups of Russian servicemen taken prisoner in the Kursk region by AFU units.
Russian channels report a steep increase in shelling of Tetkino, Bilhorod region.
"The enemy broke the communication centre, there is no communication at all. Now there is no communication in the locality at all, no internet either. The enemy's heavy artillery worked on the settlement all morning, and the shelling continued until lunchtime."
In addition to the previous message, additional channels report about the fear of a Ukrainian attempt to stretch Russian forces by artillery strikes, movement of equipment and DRG units.
Z-blogger WarGonzo reports from the Kursk region.
"Our guys are firing at the neo-Nazis right now. Our vehicles are actively moving along the landings, disguising themselves well. The main thing now is not to let the enemy bring reserves and supplies. This is what our artillerymen are working hard for. The work is in full swing."
Correction: Kursk region.
Russian forces in Korenevo, Kursk region. Since a couple of hours, clashes have restarted.

Map update as of 18:30 - Kursk region
▶️RU sources claim they retook Martynovka, but have given no visual evidence for it yet after initially claiming they lost it to Ukrainian forces. This is all based on a single Akhmat commander statement, which is not credible.
▶️RU counterattacks are reportedly happening near Korenevo and Snagost', without confirmed success.
▶️AFU units were geolocated roughly 11km north from the current front line, which indicates ongoing activity. In addition, Ukrainian tanks were seen present near Cherkasskoe Porechnoe.
In general, activity seems to have somewhat slowed down after initial gains, indicating Ukraine is digging in, and Russian reinforcements have arrived.
Regarding Poroz
▶️Ukrainian forces were geolocated in Poroz, Bilhorod region. This is also amplified and confirmed by Russian sources.
▶️Russian sources claim AFU units only went in, took two prisoners and left, claiming it was only a DRG unit. Opinions among Russian channel vary on this subject.
▶️UA sources claim shelling on the village is still ongoing, which indicates remaining UA presence.
▶️There are rumours about a second incursion near Mokraya Orlovka but this is unconfirmed.
Preliminarily, a Russian Su-34 aircraft has possible been downed in the Kursk region. Awaiting further details.
The U.S. is in communication with Ukraine regarding the Kursk operation, but is not ready to comment. A White House representative mentioned that they are working to better understand Ukraine's actions, goals, and strategy. John Kirby refrained from characterizing the situation in the Kursk region, stating that Washington needs a clearer understanding of the events.
😄
Destination, unknown 😜

Map update as of 01:00 AM - Kursk region
#1 - Korenevo area
▶️RU sources confirm that the AFU has a presence inside Zhuravli, east of Korenevo.
▶️Counterattacks towards Snagost are ongoing, with Russian sources claiming Snagost partially back under RU control
▶️AFU (possibly DRG) penetrated deep towards Kauchuk, geoconfirmed footage shows. We added a possible area of AFU presence, as we are still trying to get clarification on actual positions.
Map update as of 01:00 AM - Kursk region
#2 - Sudzha area
▶️Visual confirmation about AFU presence in Makhnovka. RU sources claim it is not under AFU, despite visual confirmation.
▶️The fate of Melovoi is that it is high likely taken by the AFU.
▶️We now dare to completely put Sudzha under AFU control, due to the fact that Makhnovka has been visually confirmed.
▶️AFU has attacked towards Plekhovo, with unknown outcome. RU sources claim it was a fairly large mechanized attack. Actual presence inside the town is disputed by several RU sources. Therefore still RU controlled in this map.
▶️Despite multiple claims, no credible evidence appeared that Russia regained control of Martynovka.
Map update as of 01:00 AM - Kursk region
#3 - Kurchatov area
▶️As of tonight, lots of rumours appeared. Let me clarify: none of these are visually confirmed. Therefore we keep it strictly to those that can be objectively confirmed by having multiple RU/UA sources telling the same.
▶️Clashes were reported in Milaevka and Goptarovka. In addition, other RU sources confirm the the AFU indeed crossed the border. Based on RU reports from locals, with confidence it looks like the AFU captured both Kucherov and Milaevka.
▶️Clashes were reported in Kondratovka, but no evidence or double confirmation appeared that the AFU captured this village. The same goes for Ozerki, where RU sources report activity/clashes.
▶️One primary Russian source claimed the AFU (might be DRG, or none at all) reached the Belitsa-Belaya-Oboyan route, unclear where the actual presence is. For now, we kept this out of the map since it is just a rumour and quickly denied by basically all other sources. The next 24-48 hours will clarify more about this sector.
The acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov, has instructed the head of the Belovsky district to expedite the evacuation process. Smirnov stated that he is in communication with the Russian Ministry of Defense and other security agencies, with necessary safety measures being implemented in the Belovsky district.
In the map Kurchatov should be Kucherov. Excuses.
A report from the village of Belaya in the Kursk region.
"There are no battles, no enemy."
