SitRep - 11/08/24 - Russians struggle in Kursk

An overview of the daily events in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. In the Kursk region, Ukraine is moving at a lot of places, making it hard for Russians to concentrate their defense. They are struggling.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours.
During the night, a big missile and drone attack was partially repelled.
The 46th brigade once again repelled a Russian mechanized attack, destroying lots of Russian equipment.
Lets continue with the general events. Russia is once again escalating the situation at the Zaporizhzia NPP

Key general events

➡️ The AFU scaled up activity along the border in Kursk and Bilhorod.
➡️ Lots of new Russian POW footage came available, as well as captured equipment

➡️AFU took control over Plekhovo and Slovodka ivanovka. Unconfirmed claims AFU entered Gordeevka.
➡️ Clashes were reported on the Bilhorod border, taking place in at least two villages.
➡️ The AFU is trying to flank Korenevo and is advancing east of it.

All events in Ukraine's cross border operations in the Kursk and other regions will be combined in this today's thread.

The AFU was geolocated advancing towards the village of Kruglen'koe, Kursk region while coming under Russian cluster munitions fire. The location and direction of advance makes us believe we can adjust the map, and put a certain part under AFU control which was considered a gray zone before.

On Saturday, a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) entered the Belyovsky district of the Kursk region. The acting governor reported that the situation was stabilized by Russian defenders. Currently, there are no active combat engagements in the Belyovsky and Oboyansky districts, he claims.Image

Another day full of events in the Kursk region. In this thread I will collect all the information.

Information from Russian sources is coming in that the border village Plekhovo has been entered by the AFU. Yesterday, skirmishes were already reported. Needs further confirmation.Image
