Iran’s Former President Bani-Sadr explains how Khomeini was a power-hungry maniac who survived on blood & hypocrisy and how inciting wars was his plan all along.
A Thread 🧵
Khomeini was prompted by the West; in Paris he was interviewed hundreds of times by westerner journalist. Made a name out of nothing and stole the revolution Iranian people made. He came up with the Great Satan story while having direct communication line with both Carter and Reagan.
Then he started a war against the intellectuals claiming that "we don't need them".
Khomeini had planned to start war with Iraq even before he reached Tehran from Paris.
His motives were not Islamic. The goal was restore the Iranian empire and to expand that empire towards Arab countries.
The strategy was named “Exporting the revolution” by inciting total wars, such as Iran-Iraq war.
Mullahs organised a model based on the Catholic church. Very Islamic of Khomeini.
Khomeini contacted Reagan on his first days in power. He was such a good tool for the “Great Satan” that the “Great Satan” himself threatened European countries not to intervene in the Iranian politics.
Americans had most of the Iranian regime in their pockets as early as 1980. Examples: Beheshti, Rafsanjani, Behzad Nabavi, Mohsen Reza.
Khomeini was after one thing only: Power.
Even though Carter reassured Khomeini and promised to prevent the defeat of Iran. Both Carter and Reagan offered arms and spare parts. Khomeini played on both lines, and in return practiced Taqiyya and chose Reagan’s offer instead.
Khomeini dragged the hostages negotiations to allow Reagan to win the elections. Khomeini’s analysis in letting Reagan win was as dumb as it could be:
To affirm the relationship between "Great Satan" and Khomeini, Vice President Bush traveled to France personally and made the hostage-for-weapons deals himself.
Khomeini basically gave the hostages as an inauguration gift to Reagan.
The "Great Satan" couldn't be happier.
Reagan returned the gift and facilitated the arm deals with Israel.
Reagan double-returned the favour and saved Khomeini regime, with help of Saudis.
Iraqi intelligence managed to recruit Ghotbzadeh and he was planning for a coup.
Ghotbzadeh requested finances from Saudis, who refused and told Americans what was ongoing.
Americans sent the intel to Khomeini and Ghotbzadeh was executed.
Additional to USA and Israel, Soviets also provided arms to Khomeini during the war.
The Mullah plays every game available.
Soviets also helped Khomeini planning to stage a coup on Saddam.
Obviously they were not that smart to execute it. They need the west to do their bidding.
Khomeini reached power with intention to get back at Saddam as a punishment for his exile.
Saddam offered apologise for exiling Khomeini to France, but Khomeini chose not to accept and to continue with the aggression towards Iraq.
Khomeini’s regime literally survived on blood.
The highest level of decision-making acknowledged that the war was their fault but continued to blame Iraq. At the same time Iran refused peace negotiations.
Taqiyya at its best.
The questions were being asked in Iran: did Iran fight the war for America or for Israel?
Iran’s army was reduced to 57% elementary pupils with no training.
After countless of peace offerings, Iraq was starting to win the war.
The West was surprised by the Iraqi Victory. The limitless support to Iran was yielding nothing.
This was the reason why the west would conspire against Iraq in later years.
Iraq Victory made Khomeini accept the peace resolution. From “over my dead body” to “poisonous chalice”. Khomeini was a sore loser.
A loser.
Iran’s politics is still run on the same dynamics as the Iran Gate since the 1980s.
Nothing changed.
That's why history needs to be understood.

Hezbollah trained Iraqi militias to kidnap, torture, kill Palestinian Refugees in Iraq
Documented in video
A thread🧵
According to HRW, Shia militias (current Axis of Resistance; PMF) did not spare much time before attacking the Palestinian communities in Baghdad after the toppling of Saddam’s regime 2003.
Thousands have been murdered.
Interior of Interior was under the control of Badr , an Iranian faction (currently PMF), known for drilling the heads of their victims also participated in these assaults.
Hezbollah doesn’t believe in an independent Lebanon and wants Beirut to be a part of Iran.
Hezbollah is not a Lebanese party by any standards and definitions, it's an Iranian entity.
🧵A Mini Thread
Hezbollah is a hybrid actor, as it’s a party that has enjoying state legitimacy in Lebanon and operating both within and outside the state without being accountable to the state.
Its loyalty doesn’t belong to the state of Lebanon. It belongs to a foreign country thousands of kilometers away that was responsible for its creation, Iran.
Ex Israeli PM noted that Shias had no issues with Israeli army invading Lebanon and they were greeted with rice and flowers and that Israel’s presence there is what created Hezbollah. A bastard creation of Iran and Israel.

Shortly after the Gulf war, Palestinians residing in these countries found themselves under a siege similar to the one in Gaza and West Bank. A Kuwaiti official suggested they need to be eradicated as “every one of them is a ticking time bomb”
Secret death squad militias were created by US special forces and under directions of Sabah Al Ahmed. These militias harassed Palestinians in Kuwait and operated in schools and police stations
One might ask, why the coup in Kuwait went unnoticed by Western media? Answer: Kuwait is a complete British mandate. Similar to Al Saud, Al Subah Family, the saw first to the British policy in the region even if it meant betraying fellow Arab Palestinians, which they did.
The origin of House of Sabah is not even from Kuwait, which historically belonged to Basra province of Iraq. The British ensured Al Sabah a state after discovering oil there. Fun to point out that Mubarak the Great killed his own two brothers, a tradition in all Gulf rulers.
When Palestine went on a strike, 1936, Shaikh Ahmed Al Jaber refused the protests in Kuwait as he thought they were anti-British and provoked pro-Arab nationalism. In a nutshell, he stood against Palestinians and Arabs for the benefit of the Brits in the region.
Iran, Al Qaeda & Abu Musab Al Zarqawi – How Mullahs helped Zarqawi murdering Iraqis, start civilian war and made way for rise of ISIS: a thread 🧵
Few months after 9/11, Iran managed to settle a large number of Bin Laden family member, key commanders, and an unknown number of rank and file fighters. Two of Bin Laden’s wives, Khairiah and Seham, and seven of his children including his nominal heir Saad and their families
Some analysts argued that holding senior Al-Qaeda members and Bin Laden’s family were a type of “insurance policy” against refusal of Iran's agendas in Iraq as well as future attack by the group on Irani soil
