SitRep - 18/08/24 - New attacks on Kyiv included North Korean missiles.

An overview of the daily events in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Of course we look at Kursk, but also, Kyiv got attacked. Luckily air defense was successful.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. And we include footage of destroyed or damaged equipment and/or personnel.
At night/early morning, a Russian oil depot was struck. It kept burning for the rest of the day.
The general staff confirmed it had struck an oil depot.
Satellite images showed the burning fuel tanks.
Overnight, a Russian missile and drone attack mostly aimed for Kyiv was repelled. Look @POTUS, North Korean missiles, deep inside Ukrainian territory.
Ukrainian helicopter, despite inaccuracy, are also engaged in repelling attacks.
The 33rd brigade destroyed a Russian column near Mar’inka.
GUR units utilizing the sych system.
The 79th repelled another attack.
Lets continue with general events. Starting with puppet Lukashenko.
Pressure is rising on the German government to revert the decision to stop aiding Ukraine in new budget plans due to deficit issues and required cuts.
The UK is trying to increase spending for Ukraine.

Korenevo - Snagost’ axis

➡️As reported yesterday, the AFU continued its advance and now liberated Apanasovka.
➡️It is very likely that Byakhovo and Vishnevka are also liberated. Waiting for confirmation.
➡️AFU DRG was noted near Kul’Baki. This direction is likely next. Image

➡️New geoconfirmed footage and ongoing assault inside Kauchuk makes us believe the AFU is closer than previously expected.
➡️Sheptukhovka might be under UA control according to some rumors, but needs more confirmation.

Tomorrow, another update regarding eastern Ukraine. For now all we can say is that the rumor that New-York was fully occupied by Russia is untrue.
