Initially the idea was to create a look drawing inspiration from a traditional Palestinian garment called a Thawb, a long ankle length garment, which is typically long sleeved. Upon my research I discovered hundreds of Palestinian athletes had been killed recently amongst the atrocities ongoing in Gaza. Like I just...I just don't have what it takes. And I thought about it like yeah I could have tried and if I got the part just put in the work to play the role but I was just like...I personally cannot be held with the responsibility of portraying Michael fucking Jackson
