SitRep - 19/08/24 - Proletarsk is burning 🔥

An overview of the daily events in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. An oil depot in the Rostov region is still burning, already 11 fuel tanks are affected. Also, a look to the east where things are not well.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours
During the night, 11 Shahed drones were shot down.
A substation used for the trans Siberian railway was destroyed
Possibly an S-400 complex was covered.
The oil depot in Rostov kept burning after it was hit the day before. The amount of fuel tanks affected, increased to 11
More footage of the oil depot in Proletarsk emerged during the day. Emergency services stopped working as the fire is uncontainable.

➡️As predicted, the AFU has took control of Vishnevka according to RU sources
➡️The AFU continues its advance west to Glushkovo
➡️The last bridge over the Seym river was reportedly taken out, isolating Russian troops south of it. Russia started laying pontoons Image
Previously, there were claims that the AFU has started entering Konerevo. Until now we have not found any credible confirmation that proves these claims. Therefore, the town stays in a gray zone.

For now it remains unchanged. Image

The situation deteriorated significantly. Russian troops continued their advance, reaching the Zalizhna river south of Nelipivka. The area east of New-York was disputed but is now considered RU controlled.

Toretsk

➡️RU forces started pressuring into Toretsk along the main road, they made gains in the last 24-48 hours after they were initially repelled several times. With RU advances south coming from New-York, AFU units in Toretsk will face fighting from two directions soon. Image
