Another modern Russian T-90M "Proryv" tank has reportedly been captured by Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region. The tank is seen driving close to Obukhovka just east of Snagost’.
A Ukrainian fighter jet is seen striking a Russian target in the Kursk region using a French AASM Hammer guided bomb, as reported by the Ukrainian Air Force. The video shows a direct hit on an underground Russian command post.

Ukrainian SSO operators destroyed engineering equipment in the Kursk region at the Seym river. Parts of a pontoon bridge set up by Russians and which disappeared from satellite images yesterday, can also be seen.
The commander of the "Akhmat" unit, Alaudinov, stated in an interview with a Chinese war correspondent that the fighting in the Kursk region will end in 2-3 months, and this will also mark the end of the "Special Military Operation" (SVO). He also emphasized that Kadyrov's forces are staying in place, dismissing any claims to the contrary as disinformation. Meanwhile, Putin has reportedly ordered the expulsion of Ukrainian forces from the Kursk region by October 1, without redeploying troops from the Donbas.
Ukrainian forward units were located just south of Nechaev, 2km north of Russkoye Porechnoe, which is considered the current front line. An AFU advance is noted.
Burning Russian engineering equipment close to the Seym river which was previously targeted by Ukrainian FPV drones. Looks like something went wrong for Russians there 🫠
We had it under AFU control already but if anyone had any doubts. Russian channels confirm they lost Snagost’ and ‘possibly also Vishnevka’ in the Kursk region.
Both are under AFU control.
GUR fighters in the Kursk region.
Mikhail Polynkov, an associate of Igor Girkin, stated that Russian conscripts who surrendered "without a fight" in the Kursk region should not be exchanged, even though this may upset the conscripts' families. He argued that negotiating with the Ukrainian side, which he labeled as terrorists, is unacceptable. Polynkov mentioned that these conscripts could be exchanged for fighters from the Ukrainian Azov brigade which he opposes.
I am sure the families of those conscripts are very grateful for the words by Polynkov.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reportedly announced the creation of military groups named "Belgorod," "Bryansk," and "Kursk."
General Syrskyi reported that 1,263 square kilometers of territory and 93 settlements in the Kursk region are under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to Syrskyi, Ukrainian forces have made significant progress in Kursk, now controlling 1,263 square kilometers of Russian territory. They have captured 93 settlements and advanced 28 to 35 kilometers into Russian defenses.
On the Kursk front, Ukrainian troops are moving in five directions, covering four districts of the Kursk region. Meanwhile, Ukraine is close to encircling Russian forces near the Seym River, potentially trapping up to 3,000 Russian soldiers, with all three bridges destroyed and pontoon crossings under attack.
It’s reported that Ukrainian forces have increased their offensive actions in the Kursk region, according to Russian sources.
Seized Russian vehicles in the Kursk region
The AFU has reportedly surrounded units of the Russian 18th motorized rifle brigade near Malaya Lokhnya and units of the 810th infantry brigade near Kauchuk in the Kursk region. Russian sources are already reporting dead and injured.
“The enemy is very actively moving in the area of the settlement Malaya Loknya, Sudzhansky district, Kursk region. The situation is difficult.”
According to a Russian source.
According to the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), the Ukrainian military operation in the Kursk region was planned with the involvement of U.S., British, and Polish intelligence services. The Ukrainian units involved in the operation underwent combat training at centers in the UK and Germany. Additionally, NATO military advisors are reportedly assisting in directing the Ukrainian forces that entered Russian territory, providing them with satellite reconnaissance data.
