I attended the harris walz event in milwaukee ln thrilled to support the first female president. I cheered in my seat for four hours waiting for harris. I did not protest. but because I wore a shirt that said free gaza, multiple armed police and dems officials kicked me out 🧵

I even put on a sweatshirt that said “wisdems2020” and waved the sign when they asked me to. my gaza shirt was (sadly) covered when the dems party member who forced me out said point blank, “the democratic party does not want you here.” I cannot express how much this hurts ⬇️

I am leftist, but earlier that day, I was crying listening to @HillaryClinton’s dnc speech. I was just so inspired to be part of electing @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz. I told the organizers I am here to support you. I am part of this coalition. by excluding me, what do they prove?

@HillaryClinton @KamalaHarris @Tim_Walz the answer: the dems cannot envision or accept a world in which a woman who says free gaza isn’t a threat. meanwhile, 40k innocent Palestinians are slaughtered. they preach freedom and inclusion. for who? clean up your act, dems. you just keep isolating us and it hurts so bad.

also, I am a woman of jewish heritage whose family survived the holocaust in germany and austria. anyone who thinks saying free gaza is anti-jewish has it, and me, so wrong. that is part of why this hurts so much. my family did not survive genocide to facilitate another genocide.
