According to Russian sources, the AFU is now pushing stronger than before towards Glushkovo. After taking the Seym river bridges out of operation, movement was reported with an intention to force out the remaining Russian forces still south of the river.

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) plans to visit the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant next week, according to the Financial Times. He said that he is taking the risk of damage to the plant due to Ukrainian military operations in the Kursk region very seriously. He noted that the plant is within the range of Ukrainian artillery and expressed deep concern because of the ongoing combat in the area.
In the Kursk region, a portion of Russian troops are nearly encircled, according to Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation head Andriy Kovalenko. These are likely the ones south of the Seym river.
Akhmat commander Alaudinov claimed an M1A1 Abrams tank was destroyed in the Kursk region, and that everything is ‘stable’.

Today, around 4:00 PM, the Ukrainian Air Force struck a platoon strongpoint in the Kursk region using high-precision American GBU-39 bombs. The attack targeted and destroyed a UAV control point, an electronic warfare unit, equipment, weapons, and up to 40 Russian servicemen.
The U.S. has given Ukraine permission to counterattack Russian forces in the Kursk region using American weapons, according to Pentagon Deputy Spokesperson Sabrina Singh. She stated that the U.S. policy allows Ukraine to conduct counterstrikes to defend against Russian attacks from border regions, including Kursk and Sumy, in order to protect itself.

Roman Alekhin, an advisor to the governor of Kursk, urged the residents of Rylsk to evacuate while it is still possible and safe. He emphasized not to wait until the last minute, as some other towns did, and stressed that the lives of the residents and their families are more valuable than anything else. Rylsk has a population of around 15,000 people.

A UAZ-3151 with Russian marines being ambushed by Ukrainian paratroopers from the 3rd Battalion of the 82nd Air Assault Brigade. As a result, four Russians were killed, and two were taken prisoner. The incident took place in a field between Kalynove and Pohrebky in the Kursk region.

Ukrainian forces have regained control over Martynovka after it was in a gray zone due to Russian counterattacks. In geolocated footage, AFU forces were also seen advancing east of the town near the railway tracks. Fighting is reported towards Russkaya Konopelka and Pushkarnoe.

Footage released shows attacks on Russian positions in/near Malaya Lokhnya, north of Sudzha. This area is assumed to be the front line right now. In these attacks, German supplied MARDER 1A3 are reportedly involved.
