🧵🧵 a small thread of clips from #dustborn so far. I played the game for 7 hours to try to understand its confusing narrative, but it really kept getting worse.

I don't understand how you can present a liar as a good person, but the main character has the worst main character syndrome I have ever witnessed.

"Look how smart we are!"

These people use "words" to manipulate. Even the good one has to "drug" her friend with her words.

The main character is so unlikable...

When you do an all shout playthrough of skyrim, it can be fun.

This however does not spark joy. I also did not use them later unless the game forced me to. It was too cringe to hear "LEAVE ME ALONE" and have this "work"....

I don't know who this game's age demographic is for.

Can someone tell me how a "hoax" is a thing a good person does?

Is a hoax ever okay? What is this game's message? why are we gaslighting a robit when there was a perfectly good story element, i thought we were going to use Eli to show that the kids were okay and grown up...I guess I was expecting too much

The main character lies and gaslights everyone to get them to attack the ginger barefoot Abby. At no point did she want to be the leader and the main character does actually lie and manipulate everyone, as the ginger claimed....

The moral of this scene: lie to cops, get them to shoot each other, and then encourage suicide so your secrets are safe.

This entire scene was INSANE and I have no way to shorten it because WTF?

This scene is insane. Some 40 year old titan biker woman was with the 20 year old who clearly has developmental issues, and Rufus Shinra could manipulate crowds the whole time to calm people down...

This dialog is wild, this isn't how human interaction works and I cant even suspend disbelief for this because it is so unnatural.

Also nipples. "lul arent we funny?!"
