🚨Today I delved deeper into the pressing issue of our southern border, I am reminded that this is not just a matter of immigration policy; it is a question of national security. The vulnerabilities at our border, left unchecked, present a clear and present danger to the safety and well-being of every American. Our concern as conservatives is not only about the sheer number of individuals crossing our borders illegally but that among them are those who wish to do us harm.
The data is alarming. With over 10 million encounters since the beginning of the Biden administration, and over 400 individuals on the terrorist watchlist apprehended at the borders since 2021, the threat is undeniable . The possibility that dangerous individuals—terrorists, gang members, or criminals—are slipping through the cracks and entering our country should be a cause of alarm for every American citizen.
I find myself deeply troubled by the possibility that illegal immigrants could be deliberately brought into our country to influence the upcoming election. Such a scenario not only undermines the integrity of our electoral process but also threatens the very foundation of our democracy. Voting is a sacred right, reserved for citizens who are invested in the future of our nation. If this right is compromised by those who are not legally entitled to it, the sanctity of our elections is at risk. We must remain vigilant and committed to safeguarding our democracy from any forces that seek to subvert it.
Consider the potential consequences if we fail to secure our border. Imagine terrorist can easily smuggle weapons or explosives across our porous borders, using the chaos and overwhelming tax resources as cover. The very people sworn to protect us—our Border Patrol agents—are already stretched too thin to effectively combat these threats. The influx of migrants and the strain on resources mean that the focus is often on processing and managing the sheer volume of people, leaving our borders vulnerable to exploitation by those with more nefarious intentions .
Moreover, the smuggling of weapons and drugs by criminal organizations is already a well-documented reality. These organizations do not simply traffic in human lives, but put women and children at risk of rape and death—they are also responsible for the flow of deadly narcotics like fentanyl, which has devastated communities across our nation. The possibility that they could extend their operations to include the smuggling of firearms, explosives, and weapons of mass destruction is not just theoretical; it is a very real and growing concern .
Without firm immediate action, the consequences are catastrophic. We see an increase in violent crime as dangerous individuals enter the country undetected like in Colorado’s Venezuelan gang take over, bringing with them the tools and the intent to harm innocent Americans. The risk is too great to ignore now.
In these times of uncertainty, it is more important than ever to rally together as a nation and demand that our leaders take the necessary steps to protect us. The security of our border is not just a regional issue; it is a national imperative. We owe it to ourselves, to our children, to the generations that will follow to safeguard this great nation from those who would seek to destroy it.
I want to extend my gratitude to the courageous individuals last night who risked their lives to document the truth unfolding at our southern border. Your bravery in speaking directly to those crossing into our country, uncovering the troubling reality that many of these migrants are being guided and rehearsed by possibly lefty NGOs, is imperative. By shining a light on these activities, you have not only revealed the complexities and manipulations at play but have also provided a critical service to our nation, bringing the truth to the forefront. We need to do the work ourselves and remove funds from the tyrants immediately.
Sincerely yours,
@carolina_bonita
