SitRep - 02/09/24 - New AFU advances in Kursk region

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The AFU has stepped up in Kursk once again, advancing at two locations, capturing several villages.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We include visually confirmed damaged or destroyed Russian equipment and/or personnel.
Ukraine was again subject to a rather large missile and drone attack. Most of them were aimed for the capital.
Russian Belgorod got attacked this morning.
A BM-21 Grad MLRS destroyed.
MURAMASA unit destroying Russian equipment.
New: Ukrainian drones carrying a combustible mixture, burns down Russians in a treeline.
A Russian S-300 launcher and radar destroyed, although it could be decoys.
After 16 days, the Proletarsk oil depot was finally extinguished. Major damage is visible.
Destroyed Russian equipment by the 79th Air Assault Brigade.
Lets continue with the general events. Russia didn't only attack Kyiv but also a childrens social and psychological rehabilitation centre in Sumy.
Putin made some remarks, repeating the same nonsense like usual.
Ukraine reportedly used the Palyanytsia for the first time in August in occupied Crimea.
The Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Sikorski opted to destroy Russian missiles over Ukraine.
Slowly, weather is going to change in Ukraine. This means the window for offensive operations from the Russian side in eastern Ukraine are slowly coming to an end.
New Dutch PM Schoof visisted Kyiv and pledged more aid.
Ballistic missile supplies to Russia by Iran may occur in the next few days.
Putin landed in Mongolia and was not arrested. Mongolia should now be isolated and sanctioned.
Only a last step is left before Romania will send a Patriot battery to Ukraine.
After recent UAV attacks, the Moscow Oil Refinery had to halt half of its operations.

According to DeepState, and additionally confirmed by geolocated footage of Ukrainian units inside Pogrebki, the AFU has advanced north of Malaya Lohknya and captured the remains of Malaya Lohknya, Nikolaevka, Staraya Sorochina, Novaya Sorochina, Orlovka, Pogrebki and Mar'evka. We recently already hinted that this area could become problematic for Russian forces as Ukraine was also advancing east of it.

SitRep - 01/09/24 - Pokrovsk more stabilized, terror in Kharkiv and UAV's in Moscow.
