This illiberal alliance is playing out over a variety of theaters.

For instance, we've watched extremists on both sides:

- Praise Putin, denouncing Ukraine's self-defense
- Justify Hamas terrorism
- Push to elect Trump to "punish Biden"

This convergence is playing out in the backdrop of the 2024 election.

A race where a convicted felon who's taken concrete steps to stop the peaceful transfer of power — someone who seeks to dismantle America's liberal institutions — is the nominee of one of our major parties.

The @LPNational convention starts soon.

I have received the detailed @LPMisesCaucus strategy on how they plan to complete their effort to turn the LP into a satellite of MAGA.

They intend to rewrite the platform, backstab their allies, and redefine libertarianism as we know it. 🧵

Let’s start with the most egregious changes.

Their continued gutting of the platform:

The first platform item they’re seeking to eliminate is the one on free trade and migration.

LPMC leaders have made it clear that they oppose the basic libertarian principle of freedom of movement.

And others have called for an end to free trade and for the party to embrace isolationism.

This is another step in their effort to force the party adopt a platform closer to the closed borders, isolationist position of the GOP.

Today, Mises Caucus leaders of the Libertarian Party announced Donald Trump as the headliner for the Libertarian National Convention in May.

The MAGA "infiltrate and destroy" op of the Libertarian Party is officially complete.

Liberals no longer have a political home.

It's time to build one.

Today I’m announcing the formation of @ProjectLiberal PAC, our flagship campaign Operation Phoenix, and my resignation from the board of @LP_CLC.

Here’s why this is necessary. 🧵

First, I’m resigning from @LP_CLC to focus entirely on Operation Phoenix.

@LP_CLC will continue to organize classical liberal activists around the vision of @LPNational focused on winning elections.

I will continue to support them but I believe it’s time for me to change gears.

However, before I share the reason why Operation Phoenix is critical, I’d like to share my perspective on the state of American politics, the libertarian movement, and the Libertarian Party in the United States.

.@fakertarians just published a huge leak of files showing that the @LPMisesCaucus takeover of @LPNational has been a disaster.

This leak is beyond gossip. The evidence is in their own words.

The LNC may have violated laws involving the FEC, NDAs, sexual harassment, & more. 🧵

@fakertarians @LPMisesCaucus @LPNational The leak shows unequivocally that Mises Caucus is lying about the health of the LP and the PAC.

"Party members are demoralized."
"The caucus is basically over."
"The caucus is crashing and burning before our eyes."
"Many members are oblivious to... how bad it is."

@fakertarians @LPMisesCaucus @LPNational The leak has evidence of coordination between LP leaders and the Mises PAC.

One example shows an LNC member alleging that after an LP staffer was fired, he was rehired by the LNC Chair after pushback from the PAC.

Another alleges the LP is only hiring PAC members.

On Thurs, the Chairwoman of @LPNational, @angela4lncchair, sat down for an interview with @WalshFreedom.

Joe asked tough questions about the controversies since @LPMisesCaucus "took over" the LP.

Some of her answers were so egregious I was shocked.

Here’s a thread to recap.🧵

When asked why the party has refused to condemn LP state affiliates for posting racist comments, “The Fourteen Words,” and other Nazi slogans, Angela’s response wasn’t to denounce it but, instead, to ask why it was important to condemn things.

Joe also asked her why the LP has partnered and worked alongside members of the LaRouche movement: a far-left, anti-gay, anti-semitic movement that’s been described as a cult.

When asked why, Angela said, “there have been some really wonderful people [in Larouche].”
