SitRep - 09/09/24 - Russian advances near Vuhledar
An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. While the loss of Vodyane is contradicted, Russians did advance east of Vuhledar and occupied part of the Pivdennodonbaska coal mine.

Vuhledar direction.
➡️UA sources contradict eachother whether Vodyane is occupied. For now, we keep it under AFU control
➡️Russians have advanced and occupied a part of the Pivdennodonbaska coal mine
➡️Map adjusted with incremental changes over the past week.
Kupyansk direction
Russian forces managed to advance west of Pishchane after forcing a breaktrough there some weeks ago. They are now coming uncomfortably close to the Oskil River
Chasiv-Yar
Russians have established a foothold on the western side of the Donbas canal after occupying Kalynivka. Ukrainian sources report heavy fighting. It is unclear if Russia managed to advance further west.

Kursk and border operations - Day #32 - New advances near Kamyshevka

In the Kursk region, the AFU has taken Naydenov and is attacking toward Kamyshevka. Geolocated images shared by Russian sources confirm that Ukrainian troops, presumably -given the Russians' striking pattern- coming from the south, have moved into the village and are advancing toward Kamyshevka. Earlier fighting east of Kamyshevka was reported.
