Reports of a large number of civilians killed & injured when Israel bombed over 20 tents, where many families were asleep.
Body parts are reported everywhere .
People are still buried under the sand & ground.

There are great difficulties in the recovery operations given the widespread darkness. The attack, with five missiles, swallowed up the tents leaving behind three large craters in the ground.
Some context: This is within the same area that #Israel carried out another massacre in July, allegedly to assassinate Hamas leader Mohammed Deif, in which they killed at least 90 #Palestinians, among them women & children, & injured over 300.

So far, 14 bodies have been retrieved & taken to hospitals as the search continue for others missing.
🚨 Combing the sand with their bare hands, equipped with hand torchlights, Palestinian civil defence search for those missing inside one of the large craters.
Casualties update: 40 bodies have been recovered so far & 60 others injured as the overnight search goes on.
