Yall won't believe this but Ryan Routh aka Trumps Attempted Assassin was interviewed and rejected by my unit in Ukraine. He worked as a recruiter for a little while unofficially for Ivan Bohuna Special Purpose. He was rejected for mental deficiencies we picked up on.

He dyed his hair blue and wore an American flag shirt and sometimes an American flag bandana, shorts and boots.

He did not see combat with us and was rejected. He was a veteran but also a Felon I think because he asked if Felons were allowed to fight and referenced legal trouble from Hawaii. I don't believe any unit allowed him to join them so he donated his time to helping in other ways.

I'm attempting to get a document from my former command. Right now I only have a few unit witnesses who remember him. It was around May of 2022 and paperwork wasn't a big thing for Ivan Bohuna Special Purpose Brigade A4044. Early days before heavy beauracracy.

For those wanting specifics:
Battalion 517, A4044 Ivan Bohuna Special Purpose Brigade interviewed this man and denied him for entry on June 13, 2022. How do I know? I was there.
