HOLY FUCKING SMOKES:

🔥🔥🔥🧵

ELON MUSK INVESTED HEAVILY INTO JD VANCE’S CAMPAIGN USING SPACEX, LONG BEFORE HE PUBLICLY DECLARED ANY SUPPORT FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

Op-Ed: The Corporate Machine Behind J.D. Vance's Re-Election Campaign

Since stepping onto the national stage, J.D. Vance has positioned himself as a populist outsider, speaking for the working class and advocating for policies that challenge corporate elites.

Yet, when you follow the money trail, a different narrative begins to unfold—one that reflects the traditional political fundraising machine, deeply entangled with corporate interests, PACs, and establishment ties.Image
As of 2023, Vance’s re-election campaign has amassed an impressive $1,574,894.48 in total contributions.

A significant portion of this money has come from special interest groups, including the National Association of Convenience Stores and the National Automobile Dealers Association.

These contributions raise important questions about how aligned Vance really is with the everyday voter.

Convenience stores and automobile dealers are not exactly the mom-and-pop shops Vance has championed.
The corporate funding doesn’t stop there. Vance’s campaign has also received money from major corporations such as SpaceX, Honeywell, and Comcast.

These massive entities are emblematic of the kind of big business Vance once criticized for being out of touch with Main Street America.

With his funding increasingly dependent on these powerhouses, how can he claim to represent the working class without raising eyebrows?
It's also worth noting that Vance’s funding extends into the Republican establishment, despite his attempts to distance himself from “politics as usual.”

Donations from PACs associated with Mitch McConnell and groups like the Susan B. Anthony List, whose influence within the GOP has been seen as controversial, show that Vance is not immune to the same old Washington networks.
Moreover, Vance has already begun reimbursing himself for the $1.4 million he loaned his campaign in 2022, taking back $700,000 in 2022 and an additional $614,500 in 2023.

While loaning oneself campaign funds is a common practice, the timing of these repayments raises concerns about who Vance is beholden to—his finances or the voters of Ohio.
Let’s rewind to 2022, when Vance’s Senate campaign received an astounding $15,994,977.29.

Large contributions rolled in from Republican-aligned committees like the RNC, the NRSC, and the Republican Jewish Coalition.

Corporations such as Altria, Nextera, and Marathon Petroleum also chipped in, making it clear that Vance’s coffers are flush with cash from industry giants that have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo.

Establishment PACs like Koch Industries, Roy Blunt’s, Lindsey Graham’s, and Mike Huckabee’s further inflate this picture of a candidate whose populist messaging appears increasingly hollow.
One of the most striking elements of Vance’s fundraising machine is his acceptance of funds from individuals with a history of anti-Trump rhetoric, such as Ken Griffen and Paul Singer.

While Vance has worked hard to align himself with Trump’s base, these donations signal a complicated relationship with the GOP’s internal factions—one that might make his political future more precarious than it seems.
Yet, Vance is not only a receiver of campaign funds; he’s also a contributor.

Individually, he has given $15,325 to federal and statewide campaigns.

Federally, Vance’s contributions have gone to key Republican figures like Rob Portman and Max Miller, as well as national political newcomers like Blake Masters and Joe Kent. At the state level, Vance has made his mark with a $4,100 donation to Sharon Kennedy’s Ohio Supreme Court campaign.

These contributions show Vance is not just focused on his career but also actively shaping the future of Republican politics in Ohio and beyond.
So, as J.D. Vance prepares for re-election, voters should ask themselves:

Is he truly the anti-establishment candidate he claims to be?

Or is he just another cog in the well-oiled machine of corporate and political influence?

The answer may not be as clear-cut as his populist rhetoric suggests. While his campaign is thriving on contributions from industry giants and establishment Republicans, it remains to be seen if Vance will stand by his pledges to serve the interests of the average American or if the demands of his high-powered backers will steer him in a different direction.
His dealings with Purdue Pharma! The company settled for over $250 million for oversupplying its deadly OxyContin drug, which claimed the lives of over a quarter of a million Americans.

ICYMI: Shocking News from Montana: 🧵Republican Attorney General Admits to Manipulating Primary for Financial Gain

In a surprising development, the Associated Press reports that Montana’s Republican Attorney General has been caught on recording admitting to recruiting a primary challenger.

This maneuver was intended to help him raise more money and bypass campaign finance regulations.Image
HELENA, Mont. (AP) — Montana’s Attorney General, Austin Knudsen, revealed to supporters at a fundraising event that he circumvented the state’s campaign finance laws by inviting a fellow Republican to run against him as a token candidate in the upcoming primary.

This strategy was intended to allow him to raise additional funds for the November general election, according to a recording from the event.
“I do technically have a primary,” Knudsen stated when asked about his opponent. “However, he is a young man who I asked to run against me because our campaign laws are ridiculous.”

Op-Ed: J.D. Vance’s Voting Record Raises Questions About His Commitment to Civic Duty

DOSSIER ALERT: ⚠️🔥🔥🧵

As J.D. Vance steps deeper into the political spotlight, positioning himself as a champion of Ohioans and the American working class, there’s one glaring issue that should not go unnoticed:

his inconsistent voting record. Despite his ambitious political rhetoric, Vance’s actual participation in the democratic process tells a different story.Image
Vance has been a registered voter in Hamilton County, Ohio, since September 2018, but it wasn’t until May 2022 that he officially registered as a Republican.

For someone who presents himself as deeply invested in shaping the future of the Republican Party and standing up for conservative values, this recent registration seems late to the game.

More troubling, however, is Vance’s failure to vote in at least four elections since 2018, including the crucial 2020 primary elections.

These missed opportunities raise serious concerns about his commitment to engaging with the very system he now seeks to lead.
This isn’t the first time Vance has demonstrated a pattern of absenteeism when it comes to voting.

Vance initially registered to vote in Hamilton County in May 2013 but failed to cast a single ballot while registered there.

His voting record stretches back further still, beginning in Butler County, Ohio, where he first registered as an unaffiliated voter in July 2004.

While he did vote in the 2004 and 2006 general elections, his sporadic participation in local and national elections leaves much to be desired from someone now aspiring to higher office.

JD VANCE IS CONNECTED TO THE TRUMP-RUSSIA DOSSIER IN 2016!

🔥🧵🔥 way before he was a Republican, he was just a guy working to make sure Trump wouldn't get elected.

Op-Ed: J.D. Vance’s Ties to the Anti-Trump Russia Dossier—A Populist in Name Only?

In 2022, J.D. Vance received a campaign donation from one of the most controversial figures in Republican politics:

billionaire Paul Singer.

This is no ordinary political contribution—Singer’s shadow looms large over one of the most damaging moments in recent Republican history:

the creation of the now-infamous Trump-Russia dossier.

Yes, the same dossier that fueled allegations of collusion between Trump and the Kremlin, a document that led to years of investigations and political chaos, traces its roots back to the very man bankrolling J.D. Vance.Image
Let’s rewind to 2017, when it was revealed that Singer, through his backing of The Washington Free Beacon, had funded early opposition research on Donald Trump.

The Free Beacon, a conservative news outlet with deep ties to the Republican establishment, hired Fusion GPS—the same firm responsible for producing the explosive and controversial Trump-Russia dossier.

Although The Free Beacon insists that none of its initial research was used in the final dossier, the fact remains that Singer was financially connected to the very investigation that sought to bring Trump down.
This raises a critical question:

Why is J.D. Vance, a self-proclaimed populist and supporter of Trump, accepting money from one of the key players behind the anti-Trump opposition research?

For Trump loyalists and the populist base that Vance claims to represent, this is more than a red flag—it’s a betrayal.

How can Vance position himself as a champion of Trump’s working-class movement while simultaneously benefiting from the financial backing of someone who played a role in the creation of the document that spurred years of damaging investigations into Trump?

Op-Ed: The FBI’s Investigation Into Mithril Capital—J.D. Vance’s Ties to Financial Misconduct

J.D. Vance has built his political career on being a populist outsider, claiming to stand up for the working class and against the corrupt elites.

Yet, a bombshell FBI investigation into Mithril Capital, where Vance worked as a partner, tells a different story—one that directly ties him to a company embroiled in allegations of financial misconduct and questionable practices.

While Vance was not directly implicated in the investigation, his involvement with the venture capital firm calls into question the narrative he’s worked so hard to construct.Image
The FBI began probing Mithril Capital in 2019, focusing on the potential misuse of investor funds.

Mithril, co-founded by billionaire Peter Thiel, was accused of enriching itself at the expense of its investors, sitting on large sums of money that were supposed to be invested in startups, all while collecting millions in management fees.

The firm’s internal issues—plummeting employee morale, significant departures, and increasing tensions—paint a picture of a company riddled with controversy.

For someone like Vance, who claims to champion the average American, being linked to a company under federal scrutiny for financial misconduct sends a troubling signal.
Vance worked at Mithril Capital from 2016 to 2017, during which he helped the firm invest in early-stage companies.

While he left the company before the FBI investigation came to light, the timing raises serious questions about what he knew during his tenure and how deeply he was involved in the firm’s financial operations.

Even if Vance wasn’t part of the investigation, the controversy surrounding Mithril Capital tarnishes the narrative he has carefully crafted as a reformer standing up against corporate greed.

This dossier will open up your eyes to the lies and deceit that is the Republican party.

Op-Ed: The Failure of J.D. Vance’s “Our Ohio Renewal”—More Questions Than Answers

J.D. Vance has built much of his political identity around his fight against the opioid crisis, but there’s a shadow that looms large over his narrative—a shadow cast by his time at Sidley Austin, the law firm that represented Purdue Pharma, the maker of OxyContin.

Purdue has been one of the primary culprits behind the opioid epidemic, paying billions in settlements for its role in the crisis that ravaged communities across the country, including those in Ohio. While Vance himself may not have worked directly on Purdue’s defense, the association raises serious questions about his commitment to solving the very crisis his former client helped create.Image
Image
It’s this uncomfortable backdrop that makes the failure of Vance’s nonprofit, Our Ohio Renewal, all the more glaring.

After leaving Sidley Austin, Vance attempted to reshape his image by launching the nonprofit in 2017 with the promise of tackling Ohio’s opioid crisis head-on.

But instead of providing relief to the communities he claimed to champion, Our Ohio Renewal quickly faded into obscurity.

Despite raising significant funds and receiving media attention, the nonprofit has been plagued by inactivity, financial opacity, and a glaring lack of results.
According to publicly available reports, more than 95% of the money raised by Our Ohio Renewal in 2017 went toward fundraising expenses rather than directly benefiting the people of Ohio.

For a nonprofit that was supposed to be focused on solving one of the state’s most pressing issues, this allocation of resources is not just questionable—it’s a failure.

At a time when opioid addiction continued to devastate communities, the nonprofit failed to deliver on its lofty promises, leaving Ohioans without the help they desperately needed.
