An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Zelenskyi met with Trump, but they did not get far beyond exchanging words and generalities, as expected.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We include visually confirmed destroyed or damaged Russian equipment and/or personnel.
Another Russian missile and drone attack overnight.
In Rostov, Ukrainian drones arrived close to the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery.
A large Russian mechanized assault was repelled, leading to the destruction of 23(!) armored vehicles.
Same attack, different footage.
Russians on jetski's, hit on and now in the Dnipro river.
A Russian tank and BMP destroyed.
A Russian assault group taken out in the Pokrovsk direction.
Lets continue with the general events. Biden will lead a new Ramstein meeting on October 12 in Germany.
9 minors and one adult were returned to Ukraine.
Despicable statements by Hungarian officials.
So far, Zelenskyi did not convince the White House to lift the restriction on striking deep inside Russia with long-range weapons supplied by the US.
This likely has to do with the fact that the US fears a real Russian retaliation.
"We'll see what happens," said by Trump translates to "I will force him to give up land or Putin will take it."
Zelenskyi met with Trump.
Lukashenko is mad that Zelenskyi is not 'listening to him'.
Western officials reportedly have clear evidence that China is engaged in supplying lethal weapons to Russia for the usage in Ukraine.

Toretsk direction

Russians have advanced along Dzerzhinksy Street inside Toretsk. Meanwhile, Russians also try to advance north of Nepylivka, but have not yet managed to advance any further than previously known positions. Image

Russians have advanced towards Lysivka, based on geolocated footage. Only ~9km remains until Russians have reached the outskirts of Pokrovsk itself. Image
