SitRep - 03/10/24 - UAV strikes on Borisoglebsk airbase in the Voronezh region

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Ukrainian UAVs struck Borisoglebsk air base, and new NATO secretary general Mark Rutte visited Kyiv.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We include visually confirmed damaged or destroyed Russian equipment and/or personnel.
A fairly large Shahed drone attack happened overnight, with the majority shot down.
The Ukrainian General Staff reports that a Nebo-M long-range radar was destroyed.
A group of Russian bikers neutralized by a combination of the 63rd and 60th brigades.
Ukrainian UAVs struck Borisoglebsk air base in Russia. This base is hosting bomb warehouses and Su-34/35 fighter jets.
Aftermath images show clear burn traces. Detailed footage will have to clarify what specifically -if anything- has been damaged.
Several pieces of heavy and rare equipment such as the Thorne-MDM EW complex were destroyed by the 140th recon batallion.
Russian sources confirm that they lost two S-400 launchers and a command and control vehicle after an attack on the 20th of September.
A Russian IFV destroyed.
Lets continue with the general events. When Ukraine is given the green light, it is immediately ready to strike at 261 military sites in Russia.
Luxembourg joined the drone coalition.
Mark Rutte, on his first trip as new NATO boss, went to Kyiv and reconfirmed his and the alliance' support for Ukraine.
Zelenskyi and Rutte held talks in Kyiv.
The Patriot system donated by Romania has already arrived in Ukraine
Saudia Arabia could harm Putin, but will they?
Already two third of the pledged 500.000 artillery shells by the end of 2024 were delivered to Ukraine.
Fico expressed deep wishes to restart cooperation with Russia on every aspect and level.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces advanced and were spotted near Ostrivs'ke. It is very likely that Ukrainian forces have withdrawn behind the Vovcha River to set up new defenses. It is highly questionable whether any Ukrainian troops remain east of Zhelanne Pershe/Druhe. Image
