Lol not exactly an undecided group of women here
Trump's opening pitch to women is ranting about migrants
Trump is now talking about his favorite graph. It's really notable that he has about three or four talking points he loves and he uses them over and over, regardless of whatever question he's asked (scary migrants, tariffs, deportation ...)
TRUMP: I said we are not gonna tax social security benefits
FAULKNER: And we can pay for that?
TRUMP: *keeps ranting*
after letting Trump rant about migrants for about 10 minutes, the Fox News "women's issues" town hall has now pivoted to transphobia
FAULKER: How do you stop men from playing in women's sports? Do you go to the sports leagues?
TRUMP: You just ban it. Not a big deal.
Q: What can you do to make having children more affordable?
TRUMP: You never heard of Ivanka, right?
FAULKER: How can we help people afford bacon?
TRUMP: There wouldn't have been a Ukraine and Russia. There wouldn't have been an October 7.
Trump claims that if he was president right now, US energy production would be double Russia and Saudi Arabia combined
Trump's face is the same color as the wood paneling
Not surprising but notable. There's also a woman in the crowd literally wearing an "RNC DELEGATE" hat.
Trump on the immigrants he wants to come to the country: "They're gonna in through testing. They're gonna in through, like, 'Do they love our country? Can they love our country?"
Trump seems to think humanitarian parole status for immigrants is the same thing as being on probation after you are convicted of a crime
lol Trump is taking ANOTHER question on "immigrant crime." Fox News really wants women to believe this is THE ISSUE of the election
Trump acknowledges that there are "bad apple" police officers (who brutalize and kill people) but says he's giving them immunity anyway
after saying he'll give police blanket immunity, Trump incoherently says that "people know the bad apples" and those cops won't have immunity
Faulkner plays Trump the clip of him calling Adam Schiff "the enemy within." Trump says "I think it was a nice presentation. I wasn't unhinged ... it is the enemy from within. And they're very dangerous. They're marxists and communists and fascists."
Q: What policies would you implement to help hurricane-affected families and business recover?
TRUMP: We give hundreds and billions of dollars to foreign countries, many of which you've never heard of
FAULKER: Can you make FEMA better?
TRUMP: It was great with me
CROWD: *laughs*

We're 50 minutes in to the one hour town hall and Trump finally gets a question about abortion. Trump breaks out the usual talking points about how everyone wanted Roe to be overturned, it's back to the states, etc etc
Trump: "I'm the father of IVF"
Trump describes Katie Britt as "a young, just a fantastically attractive person"
this is one of Trump's weirdest talking points that he uses all the time

Elizabeth Wilkins: "People are looking for different ideas. The bad version is that an undermining of people's faith in democracy leads to authoritarianism. The good version is that we get together to think about what we need in terms of power the ideas and the people to create a new common sense -- one that brings us back for the modern era to that marriage of democracy and capitalism, where democracy shapes markets for the public good."
@PatrioticMills @SnapStream Patriotic Millionaires founder Erica Payne: "Here's what happened. Doesn't matter who's in charge. Tax rates for the rich always go down."
Maria Bartiromo on a weaker than expected February jobs report: "The jobs picture is weakening. Weaker than expected jobs again in the month of February tells you that the Fed is gonna cut rates!"
BARTIROMO: We've got a meeting coming up. Does anyone on this panel think the Fed is gonna cut rates at the next meeting?
STEPHEN MOORE: Well, I don't think they should. I just don't see a case for lower interest rates right now. We still have inflation at the 3-4% range.

Sen. Roger Wicker: "This nomination is unconventional, just like that New York developer who rode down the escalator in 2015 to announce his candidacy for president. That may be what makes Mr. Hegseth an excellent choice."
