1/ We ran an experiment on @JumperExchange to look at how CCTP fares against other solutions for $USDC transfers, starting with $100 on Ethereum.

The results will surprise you 🧵

2/ CCTP was widely expected to eat all of $USDC volume share, when it launched in mid-2023 to support native $USDC transfers between independent chains.

However, we can see that Across wins on price *and* speed—beating @circle’s canonical bridge, CCTP, when factoring gas costs.

3/ Here’s what it costs to move $100 in $USDC from Ethereum to L2s via Jumper. To head to @arbitrum, our total transfer cost (transfer fee + gas fee) came to:

CCTP - $28.09
Across - $16.42
