This is the moment @SteveMannix, CEO of registered charity @MercuryTheatre and Chair of child transitioning charity Outhouse had me arrested by @EssexPolice for posting on X, sending emails and "criminal damage".
What was I posting about that he wanted me silenced so badly? Well, what @MercuryTheatre and Outhouse get up to with millions of pounds of our money.

Things like: sexually explicit Arts Council-funded children's shows; promoting violence against women and girls via their children's entertainers; BDSM fetishists reading stories to toddlers; transing vulnerable children behind their parents’ backs; making defamatory & hostile public statements designed to police the lawful speech of female members of the public, and intimidate women like me into silence; pushing puberty blockers on vulnerable children; allowing men into the women’s toilets; promoting breast binders; recruiting kids to make content that promotes gender ideology; putting violent middle aged male fetishists together with vulnerable teenage girls; tolerating hate speech by their Chief Executive and their children’s performers; asking local businesses to provide “safe spaces” from women like me in case we get violent... the list goes on, and there’s plenty more that I can’t post here including very disturbing things people have shared with me in DMs.

And don't get me started about the 7 counts of serious sexual assault/rape in the mixed sex toilets of just one of our local schools advised by Outhouse, which claims mixed sex toilets are “no risk” and also advises @Essex_CC. Coming to a Crown Court near you in 2025.

I got the school story into the papers. @jk_rowling’s 14 million followers heard about it. Did you?
I shared hundreds of pages of evidence with the Police. The CPS threw out the allegations of harassment and criminal damage.

I’d also like to thank @HarryTheOwl101 of @WeAreFairCop and @SpeechUnion for their assistance, especially Harry. Please join and/or make a donation if you can - you never know when you’re next.Image

Outhouse is one of the richest charities in Essex and is almost entirely bankrolled by public money, including money from our local council, Police, NHS, domestic violence shelter and many others. They had around £1m of mostly public money in their reserves last year.

Between them the Mercury and Outhouse receive taxpayer funding in the millions, mostly from @ace_national, @TNLComFund and @yourcolchester, but they have zero public accountability.

The Mercury’s stakeholder engagement has escalated from simple discrimination, victimisation, intimidation and harassment to having their political opponents, i.e. their customers, arrested.

Three of the Mercury trustees were among those who had me arrested. Charity law says they should be able to explain everything the Mercury does in terms of its public benefit. Charity law also requires them to "avoid putting yourself in a position where your duty to your charity conflicts with your personal interests or loyalty to any other person or body."

The correct course of action if they were in any way concerned about the Mercury straying outside its objectives, or anything else that could affect the charity’s reputation, would be to approach the Charity Commission. In fact, trustees have a legal duty to report promptly if they believe the charity has experienced or is at risk of serious harm.

Reasons for self-referral include:

Safeguarding issues (for example, harm or risk of harm to beneficiaries, especially vulnerable individuals);
Serious governance issues (such as conflicts of interest or lack of proper oversight);
Criminal activity, for example harassment, hate crime, wasting police time by making malicious and vexatious reports;
Inappropriate political activities or use of charitable funds;
Reputational damage or serious public controversy.

Failing to report serious incidents is a breach of trustee duties. The individuals who had me arrested were involved in 4 charities dealing directly with the cohorts of vulnerable children described in the Cass Review. They have access to public money in the millions, and of course they have safeguarding responsibilities.

The Charity Commission has been very clear about expecting charities to uphold the recommendations of the Cass Review. Mermaids, eat your heart out.Image

Outhouse has close links with @EssexPoliceUK. In fact both the Police and Police and Crime Commissioner @Hirst4EssexPFCC gave many thousands of pounds of our money to Outhouse to support transitioning gay, autistic and traumatised children last year.

Outhouse has even trained the Police and PCC to consider my lawful views as hate. Their training is some of the most shocking I’ve seen. I’m sure @jk_rowling and @kemibadenoch would be interested to know what the people who train our councils, police and NHS have to say about them. There is every chance they trained my arresting/investigating officer.

Outhouse is also a hate crime reporting centre. Quite something for an organisation which puts out public statements accusing women of hate speech because we dare to object to girls being raped in the mixed sex toilets of the local schools they advise. Quite something for an organisation whose chair uses the most extreme misogynistic hate speech against women like me (yes, I was able to provide evidence when I was arrested - I’m sure the apology from my @UKLabour MP Pam Cox for calling me “poisonous” when I called it out is in the post).Image

If you're interested to know what the leaflets the Police took in evidence said, here's the @MercuryTheatre one.

Take a bow the magnificently talented @UTotalBellend for the design.

The only thing out of date is that the Mercury eventually, after 10 months of me badgering them and their funders, published their safeguarding policy in May 2024. It's from November 2022.

Despite my many pleas for them to incorporate NHS guidance, recommendations of the Cass Review etc. They resolutely refuse to review it. Why review your safeguarding policy when you can call the Police instead?

Namechecks for @ace_national, @communitydk1953 and @yourcolchester here too.Image

Here's the second leaflet that the Police took in evidence

And of course with eternal thanks to the amazing @hannahsbee for your work (@vistaprint is very reasonable too!).

Again thanks to @UTotalBellend for the design.

The first thing I did in my police interview was to read out the stats from this leaflet.Image

I’m well known to the Mercury. I started off going through the proper channels and got nothing but nasty, gaslighting replies to my emails, before they blacklisted me altogether. One trustee I was on friendly terms with blocked me on WhatsApp when I mentioned child safeguarding - he's one of the people who had me arrested for harassment.

From being a regular customer, I don't go to the Mercury any more for obvious reasons. I made an exception in June for the election hustings. They knew I was coming because I had booked and submitted a question.

I was followed around and harassed in the toilets. I was later arrested for criminal damage, supposedly caused by stickering. I’ve never stickered in my life. Out of around 400 people they somehow managed to narrow down the alleged criminal damage to me. I submitted a FOI request to the Police - @MercuryTheatre hadn't reported any criminal damage for almost 2 years. What a coincidence!

I later asked the Police how serious the damage was and how much it cost to repair. “A small amount of cleaning to a wall and fan”, apparently. Enough for my house to be searched and for me to be taken into custody for 6 hours and questioned for 3, have my DNA taken, be banned from entering a whole area of Colchester whilst on bail for over 10 weeks and have my phone confiscated for over 10 weeks.

They waited 7 weeks to arrest me for the “criminal damage”. Was it coincidence that a couple of days before I was arrested, a viral video by Council Watch mentioned I was going to appearing on their channel to talk about the Mercury?

I'm mentioned at about 20:50. It’s worth watching the whole thing though, in particular @SuccessfulGardn's bit from around 16 minutes.

Video features the irrepressible @cathy_mudge, @DingsdaleJ95299 and @polly67890. It's a corker!

If you want to know what hate speech sounds like to the likes of @yourcolchester-backed @MercuryTheatre, Outhouse, @ColchesterArts, @Colch_Pride, @ColchesterKings,
listen to my speech from when @ThePosieParker came here in March.

We were followed to the pub afterwards by a number of men. Multiple men were spotted hanging around inside and in the street across from the pub by different women leaving the pub at different times. I had phone for a lift home afterwards. I was so afraid of being followed home that I had to phone for a lift even though I only live 5 minutes' walk away.

I reported this and the public statement (which I'm told was co-authored by @SteveMannix) to @EssexPolice. They asked me if I could identify any of the men hanging around inside the pub and outside in the street. I couldn't then. I can now. Can anybody guess?

Here's the full list of "victims". Their board is a rollcall of all the worst Stonewalled organisations. Did I mention @SteveMannix is an ex-@StonewallUK director?
