We must have a zero tolerance policy for abuse of intelligence databases.

If a member of the security state conducts an illegal query on an American citizen they must be prosecuted and their employment terminated.

We must also pursue charges against those who conducted past illegal queries.
Those who committed past illegal queries of intelligence databases who cannot be charged due the statute of limitations should have their employment terminated and be publicly named.
Past and present Intelligence Community leaders such as Paul Nakasone who knowingly enabled and even encouraged illegal queries of American citizens must also face consequences.
Our vast intelligence holdings are important to protecting America from foreign adversaries. When these holdings are illegally used by the security state to spy on Americans including politicians, clergy, the media, and average American citizens it undermines the important mission of the IC.

Highly inappropriate. @ODNIgov Ombudsman should immediately investigate whether or not this individual’s radical and extremist views interfered in CIA’s intelligence production and/or contributed to the I&W failure pre-October 7.
Hard to understand the justification for suppressing the identity of this extremist/pro-terrorist employee. Especially given that their affiliation was declared on LinkedIn and they are a senior executive.
For more information on the role of the ODNI Analytic Ombudsman see:

Elated and thankful to hear that Mr. Woodke has been released after 6 years in captivity. We continue to pray for his wellbeing and safe return home.

America owes a debt of gratitude to our oldest ally France and specifically the DGSE for securing Mr. Woodke's release.
As, @ASD_SOLIC this was my teams top priority. While Mr. Woodke was fighting for survival, the SO/LIC team was fighting the worst of the government bureaucracy 24/7, including those tasked with returning Americans unjustly held abroad, to make sure Jeffrey was not forgotten.
In the coming weeks I will be discussing what we can learn from the bureaucratic attempts to sabotoge Operation Inverted Light.

Last May, the PIDB identified a series of records related to the 9/11 attacks of significant public interest. Today, after many months of interagency review, a 2004 memo from the 9/11 Commission recapping their conversation with President Bush and VP Cheney was declassified.
This memo provides unique insight into the former President and Vice President’s actions before and after the attacks carried out by Al-Qaida at the instruction of Usama Bin Ladin.

Full memo here:

The Board recommended that President Biden release this and a number of other 9/11 related records in August 2021. In the absence of greater transparency harmful and false conspiracies have taken hold. We will continue to advocate for maximum public transparency on this topic.

The PIDB is pleased to learn of the @ODNIgov’s remarks regarding the national security harm caused by over-classification and the need to modernize the classification and declassification system.
Her comments echo concerns the Board has highlighted in previous reports to the President and in public testimony before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
In November the PIDB met with Principal Deputy DNI Dixon and detailed our recommendations for modernizing the classification system. The PIDB looks forward to working with DNI Haines to increase government transparency and strengthen our national security.”
