Who is Bibi Fatima (s), thread 🧵 Image
Bibi Fatima (s) is the only daughter of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s) and Lady Khadija (s). She was born on Friday
the 20th
Jamadi us-sani, five years
after the Prophet Muhammad (s) declared his message.
She is also known by
other names like Batool, Insiya,
Azraa, Masumah, Sayyedah,
Siddiqah, Tahirah, Tayyibah, Raziyah, Marziyyah, Zakeyyah, Umme Abeehaa and Zahraa.
She was noble, kind, generous and always
truthful.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (s) used to
say - "Whoever pleased Fatima indeed pleased God. Whoever caused her to be angry has indeed angered God. Fatima is part of me. Whatever pleases her pleases me and whatever angers her, angers me."
Bibi Fatima (s) is
the wife of our first Imam Ali (a). She had 4 children: two sons Imam Hasan (a) and Imam Hussain (a) and two daughters Bibi Zainab (s) and Bibi Kulsoom (s).
She is the ideal for all women in all their roles – daughter, wife, mother, community member, teacher.
Bibi Fatima (s) is the leader of
all the women in the universe, Syeda
tun nisa al aalameen and the Lady
of Paradise, Khatoon e Jannat.
She
is extremely intelligent, learned, gentle, generous, pious, beautiful,
pure and free from every fault.
The
Prophet Muhammad (s) called her
Umm Al Abiha, the mother of her father.
Bibi Fatima (s) the wife for whom her husband Imam Ali (a) said "We lived like two pigeons in a cocoon", Fatima (s) the mother of the Aimma, Fatima (s) the teacher, Fatima (s) the community worker.
Bibi Fatima (s), the upholder of truth and justice, the link between Nabuwwa (Prophethood) and Imama (Leadership), and the Quran refers to her as 'Kausar' (abundance of goodness).
Through her words & actions she has shown us how to live as a true Muslim, following laws of Islam.
She proves that a Muslim woman can hold on to her dignity while taking part in social activities and preserve her nobility as a Muslim. Her involvement in social and political matters is evidence that in an Islamic society, women cannot remain indifferent and passive observers.
No words can describe the phenomenal legacy that she has left behind in her 18 years – Bibi Fatima (s) and her sons will always be those who taught how to live the words of God revealed to Prophet Muhammad (s).
