Many people have been asking me how to be a sure a potential therapist is a good fit. Whether you're looking for someone COVID conscious or neurodiversity affirming, here are some questions to ask a potential provider to see if they're right for you

oliviabelknaptherapy.com/post/questions…
A few people have shared they found someone from the COVID conscious therapist directory who wasn't affirming of their precautions. While the directory is a great resource, it's still important to vet a potential provider to make sure you're on the same page. /
Asking why they joined the directory, and what being COVID conscious means to them can give you helpful insight into whether they'd be a good fit. Find these questions and more in my blog post!

I’ve seen videos of this study being conducted for class and it’s fascinating to watch… the parallels with COVID response are undeniable/
You can see the distress on people’s faces as they hear confederates (basically researcher plants) confidently give the wrong answer, one after another. /
The “real” study participant (who doesn’t know the other participants are in cahoots with the researchers) will give the (wrong) answer that matches what others have said before them. EVEN IF they clearly don’t believe that to be the case /
