Christian Zionist organisation 'Never Again Is Now' has held rallies all over ‘australia’ purporting to denounce antisemitism. Yet it has consistently demonstrated a trend of platforming, enabling and allowing the behaviour it apparently opposes.

They are strange bedfellows with various antisemitic conspiracy theorists, fascists and religious extremists. From using neo-Nazi adjacent marshalls, to their leadership willingly taking interviews with known antisemites.

On October 27, ‘Never Again Is Now’ (NAIN) organised a rally in Perth which featured the predictable slew of racist speakers and the embarrassing butchering of Jewish culture by their church band masquerading as native Hebrew speakers.

Amongst the crowd, it was hard not to notice failed Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate Tyler Walsh, wearing a t-shirt with the logo of Australia First, run by antisemitic groyper Gabriel Mare.

For those of you aware of Tyler Walsh, or Gabriel Mare’s Australia, you'll know how insane it is that this man, and this logo, were welcome anywhere near a rally supposedly held to fight antisemitism.

To describe Gabriel Mare of Australia First as an antisemite is an understatement. He is a neo-Nazi adjacent loser who worships holocaust denier & white supremacist Nick Fuentes, a man who is most recently in the public eye for his sickening pro-rape commentary.

Here is a screenshot from his Tiktok account where the first word he uses to describe himself in his bio is ‘fascist’ and includes a video of National Socialist Network leader Jacob Hersant saying some predictably boring neo-Nazi stuff.

And here he is sharing telegram posts from high ranking National Socialist Network members Joel Davis and Michael Nelson, as well as bemoaning the fact that NSN leader Jacob Hersant has been banned from twitter.

And here he is sharing neo-Nazi propaganda (honestly, we’re sharing the fairly PG stuff that Gabriel tends to post, not really wanting to give this fascist crap a free ride on the internet. But trust us, this guy sucks)

Gabriel has even directly targeted his neo-Nazi abuse on twitter towards NAIN co-organiser Freya Leach.

And here he is threatening to give Freya Leach away as a war bride to his generals after groypers “win” and “get into positions of power”

Note the Australia First logo in the bottom corner is the same as Tyler’s T-shirt.

It’s hard to imagine why Tyler Walsh might choose that T-shirt to make his feelings known about antisemitism. Even harder to understand how self-professed defenders of Jews are unaware it’s a fascist logo, or worse, unwilling to do something about it.

The t-shirt is not the only red flag, the grub wearing it has some interesting friends too.

Tyler Walsh first came to the attention of antifascist researchers, when during his brief campaign to become the youngest One Nation member of Parliament, Tyler was keeping himself busy harassing members of the public for attending drag story time.

It was later revealed that in 2019, he was associating with, and even interviewed by a man named Dean Smith, who ran for the federal seat of O’Connor as a candidate for Pauline Hanson’s One Nation.

The thing about Dean Smith is that he attempted to join the U.S.-based accelerationist white power group The Base, as revealed by a Hatewatch investigation.

The group had an international network and sought Australian recruits with firearms, security licenses, combat training, and a commitment to racial purity. Leaked recordings show Smith praising National Socialist ideology and pledging to "save the race."

One has to wonder how someone like Tyler Walsh, an individual with very close ties to aspiring neo-Nazi terrorists and happily wearing t-shirts of virulent antisemites can be made to feel so comfortable at such a rally.

If you’ve followed this account for a while, you’ll know that this isn’t the first time that the Never Again Is Now movement, fronted by Mark and Freya Leach has been exposed for platforming and normalising antisemitism.

In July we revealed that marshalls at the Melbourne rally were supplied by Nick Patterson’s Australian Peacemakers, most of whom attended a neo-Nazi event in the same month hosted by Matt Trihey of the National Workers Alliance.

And later that month we shared footage from their Brisbane rally where proud boy and antisemite Ben Shand (aka Dusty Bogan) makes a disgustingly antisemitic joke to both Mark and Freya who laugh it off.

Once again, the Never Again Is Now movement acts as a honeypot for fascists, attracting white supremacists under the guise of protecting the Jewish community from antisemites.

Zionism is a fascist ideology that relies on advancing white supremacist goals of dehumanising Palestinian and Arab people to reach it goals.

As time progresses, it is shifting the Overton window of the community further to the right, undermining the Jewish principles of justice and equality.

The alliances being forged with far-right groups are particularly dangerous; these groups align with Zionist interests only temporarily and will abandon the Jewish community when it suits them.

Zionists typically deny and deflect these concerns instead of recognising the peril of their new allies. Zionism is antisemitic. Our liberation from antisemitism has always been inextricably linked to the liberation of Palestine.

As we said in our last post on Never Again Is Now, any entity that normalises and empowers fascism must be staunchly opposed and eliminated. There is no Jewish future under fascism. Free Palestine, end the occupation, liberate Judaism from Zionism!
